Fantastic last minute stay, the owner was so welcoming and helped us with ideas for places to see on the island. The hotel is in a great location, the grounds and pool are lovely and all very clean. Room was perfect nice balcony, air con, fridge with water and very modern bathroom. Breakfast was relaxed and fresh food with lovely coffee and omelette. Highly recommend the place and a fantastic start to our holiday thank you

Owner is great. Very helpful. Hotel is in a great location. Breakfast was good. The bed was hard for my taste and the shower was very small and the toilet is in a very tight place but the hotel is very nice. The pool was great.

Great location

Very nice family run hotel, just minutes walk from the main square of Fira! It is a little dated and the beds are very firm but great for what we needed. Breakfast was a cold continental selection but adequate, I would recommend!

Upon check in, Melina went over the map of the nearby town of Fira with us. She was incredibly helpful and offered excursions and restaurant suggestions that we did and loved during our stay. The location of the hotel is great, about a 5-10 min walk to Fira and away from most of the noise from the crowds. Our onlh two concerns were that we were on our honeymoon but received a room with two twin beds instead of a double. There was a pull out couch in the room that we slept on instead. Also, to keep things in the fridge, we needed electricity, but your key powered the electricity in the room. So if you left your room, the fridge stopped keeping cold. Aside from those two items, the pool was lovely, the sunrises were picturesque and the breakfast was delicious!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Melina's hotel. We were welcomed by Melina and her friendly staff and they treated us like family during our entire stay. They gave us many great tips about the island, helped us organize excursions and whenever we needed something they were there to help. The breakfast was a nice touch with excellent food choices (especially the salad :)). We would definitely return to Melina's and we highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Thank you so much for your hospitality

Beautiful grounds lots of flowers. A little back from the caldera but that is why it’s cheaper and quieter. Rooms were small, basic but clean. Only amenity is soap. You get one towel each and one pillow. Beds were not overly comfortable. Both our rooms had a nice balcony Upon arriving we were given a map of the area and good information. Very easy to get to the caldera, bus transfer, restaurants and shopping. Biggest downside was in one of our rooms the toilet was leaking on each flush. This was reported and never addressed. Stepping over urine on the floor is not great. Breakfast was sufficient.
