The Space This spacious 240 sqm villa is spread across two levels, providing an open and flowing layout that’s perfect for both relaxing and socializing. The heart of the house is the impressive main canava (winery cellar), with its high ceilings and domed roof, providing an airy and light-filled space. The large living area, with a dining space and open-plan kitchen, is ideal for gathering with loved ones. With plenty of seating options, you can unwind here during the day, or enjoy a homemade meal together in the comfort of this historical yet modern setting.
The villa features two private bedrooms, each with its own charm, as well as additional sleeping areas on a mezzanine and in a semi-open space. This layout comfortably accommodates up to 8 guests, making it ideal for both groups and more intimate getaways.
A private courtyard of approximately 100 sqm offers multiple seating corners where you can relax, enjoy a book, or sip local wine. The private terrace boasts breathtaking views of the Aegean Sea and the quaint village of Finikia – the perfect spot for watching the sunset.
The Design The Red Winehouse is a true example of local craftsmanship, built with Santorini’s unique volcanic materials, including Aspa (volcanic ash) and Poria (red volcanic stones). These materials give the home an authentic feel, while the concrete floors blur the boundaries between indoor and outdoor spaces, enhancing the sense of openness.
The main canava hall, originally designed for wine production, now serves as the villa’s main living-dining area. Built-in stone benches, once used to move wine barrels, now provide additional stepped seating in this spacious and unique part of the home.

Private Transport: We can arrange for a pick-up from the airport or harbour by minivan or taxi. Please let us know at least a day before your arrival with your details.
Public Transport: A bus station is just 200 meters from the house.
Access to the Villa: Vehicles are not allowed within the peaceful village of Finikia, but we’ll arrange to pick you up from the main road and guide you to the villa, which is only a 200m walk away.
Welcome Package: Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted with a thoughtful welcome package including mineral water, a bottle of wine, local goods and coffee capsules, along with a tourist map and helpful information to make your stay unforgettable.
Housekeeping: Bed sheets and towels are changed every fourth day, and cleaning is provided every fourth day, upon request.
Wi-Fi: Free internet access is available throughout the property. You'll receive the password upon check-in.
