Very simple, basic and old.

Breakfast included was ok, but room quality is poor. I would give a maximum 2 star for this hotel. It is in a good location, nice neighbourhood.

Hotel is good for budget travellers. Breakfast is reasonable but nothing elaborate. Located in a very safe area. Few restaurants close by. Wifi is very good quiet unlike other hotels around wherein I have stayed in past.

There are better alternatives

Pros: location, price Cons: dirty rooms, unfriendly staff, parking lot space We're put in a room where the shower as leaking and the bathroom floor was all wet. Then, we were transferred to another room that later one we learned that had the same leaking problem. And the TV remote control didn't work.

Merak hotel not so good

The cold water was hot. In the web site it was mentioned parking is available. It seems they mean is available with 25 R per day.

Good location for that price

Good service, nice breakfast, friendly people, but the shower is quite all, the mattress is really soft that you can feel the springs, good location

Localização: Bairro muito calmo. Fica a frente de dois supermercados, e ao lado de três farmácias. Muitos restaurantes bons, e shoppings próximos. Fica a 5 minutos de caminhada da estação de metrô de Moema, e 10 do parque Ibirapuera. Instalações: Quarto, recepção, e todo ambiente do hotel passaram um aspecto de muito limpo e preservados. Ar condicionado novo, e quarto muito limpo e organizado. Quarto possui frigobar, banheiro com secador e chuveiro elétrico. Café da manhã: Excelente. Bem sortido, com muitas variadas de pães, salgados, doces, frutas, bebidas, e frios. Nada que comi estava ruim. Tudo delicioso. Principalmente o bolo de chocolate com cenoura, e o croissant de chocolate. Não dou 5 estrelas, pois acredito ser injusto dar 5 estrelas, pelo fato de igualar a nota a hotéis que possuem uma área de lazer como piscinas e etc. Mas todo o resto, muito bom.
