Set in the beautiful, expansive countryside of Normandy, you’ll find the Le Moulin du Saon vacation home. Escape the hustle and bustle of daily life and unwind, while also enjoying all the sights and activities just a stone’s throw away. From the house, you’re just a 15-minute drive from the beach, the charming town of Bayeux, the national park, and various attractions and activities.

A cozy and comfortable stay:
The house was fully renovated in early 2023 with attention to original details to preserve its cozy atmosphere. The spacious living room is a wonderful place to play games together or relax and watch a movie on the smart TV. Various board and card games are available, and you can also log in with your own account to various streaming services and the Xbox. The house is equipped with an air-to-air heat pump that can be used to both heat and cool the house. Almost every room in the house has its own thermostat that can be set to your desired temperature.

Sleeping:
The 8-person vacation home has 5 bedrooms. Two large master bedrooms, each with a double bed, one bedroom with two single beds, and two bedrooms with a single bed. Bedding is included, and a travel cot is also available upon request.

Bathroom:
On the ground floor, there is a spacious, modern bathroom with a lovely walk-in shower, toilet, double sink, towel rack, plenty of hooks, and a hair dryer. There is an additional toilet with a sink on the first floor. Towels are included, and toilet paper is provided for the first few days.

Kitchen:
The fully equipped kitchen has all the appliances you need, including a dishwasher, combination microwave, electric kettle, drip coffee maker, blender, and toaster. A few coffee filters, tea bags, and coffee are provided for the first few cups, as well as tea towels, dishcloths, a dish brush, a sponge, dish soap, hand soap, paper towels, parchment paper, salt, and pepper.

Garden & Parking:
Surrounding the house is a large garden with unobstructed views, and a small stream flows around the property. The adjacent building is the old watermill and now serves as a shed. Outside, there is a spacious garden table with chairs and a parasol. Enjoy the beautiful views, nature, the chirping birds, and the flowing water. Relax and unwind in the two lounge chairs and feel free to use the oil drum BBQ. There are a few small outdoor games in the cabinet in the living room.

Parking is available next to the house; there is space for several cars. An 11 kW charging station is available for charging electric cars. You can charge your car using your own charging cable at a rate of €0.45 per kWh.

Young children:
We’ve also thought of the little ones. The garden is mostly fenced in, the stairs are equipped with safety gates, there are child-safe outlets, and the game cabinet contains toys. Additionally, a travel crib, high chair, changing pad, baby bathtub, and toilet seat reducer are available upon request. One of the bedrooms has a low cabinet that can serve as a changing table.

Laundry Room:
During your stay, you can do laundry and ironing. In the stairwell closet, you’ll find a washing machine, drying rack, iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, mop, and various cleaning supplies. Laundry detergent is provided for your first load.

Pets:
Pets are not allowed.
