Sparkling Florida Beach Cottage combines top amenities with traditional charm. Located one driveway to the secluded beach path on the quiet north end of Lido Key. Relish your quiet beach, collect shells and sand dollars, watch pelicans and sea hawks dive for their meals...Away from the high rises, condos and cars - slip into wave-time. And when you're hungry or want to shop - walk to St Armand's Circle - only 5 minutes away!

We make it easy for you to bring only your swimsuit, flip flops and a coverup - you'll have all the amenities (chairs, umbrellas, wagon, beach towels) on the property waiting for you! Spend the evening watching the sunset on the beach and come back to your cottage and sit in comfy chairs in your private back yard to count the stars! Or grill out with our propane grill or cook just the right meal in our completely outfitted kitchen. Or hang out on the NEW Screened Florida Room out front and say hi to the neighbors.

We offer a King bedroom with an ensuite bath/shower, a Queen bedroom that shares the hall bath with the cottage and a separate sunroom that has a full-sized bed that can sleep 2.

We use high thread count linens, extra pillows for your comfort selection, Turkish Towels, Fully Stocked Kitchen with all New Bosch and GE Profile Appliances. We even have a private, high end washer/dryer (no key cards!)

Flamingo Cottage takes you back in time with charm and modern day comforts galore. The screened Florida Room welcomes you home with over 500 square feet of comfy, dry, bugless outdoor space! The main living area has comfy leather furniture and desk, a 65" smart TV (with DVD player), which is open to dining room and kitchen, plus a "smart" 42" TV in the King bedroom. The back patio is complete with 2 modern chaise lounges with side tables, a large table and chairs for 6, solar lighted large umbrella and a Weber BBQ grill (propane provided). After dinner, slip out the back door into the velvet night. Sit in the comfy chairs and sofas and tell a story or two while you find your favorite constellations.

This property is perfect all around. The location is perfect, close enough to walk to everything. Easy quick walk to the beach or the circle to eat or shop. Quiet area with few other people and little traffic. Quick response to any questions we had. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay here again!

different family members came down and stayed with me but the "two people in charge" stayed at our home at 123 North Polk. Many family members have participated in the renovation. We also went to St. Armand's to our "favorites". We cooked a lot at home too but definitely tried to be careful.

Lido loveliness

Wife and I stayed in Flamingo for a month; love the neighborhood and area. Fortunately Lido hasn't gone high rise like surrounding key islands. Flamingo a very comfortable ranch style one story house exactly as advertised. Owners a delight to work with; any issue that came up they were right on it. Booked again for next year!

Cute Cottage

Rented both their cottages. Steps from the beach and walking distance to bars/restaurants. Everyone in the family enjoyed the trip! Owners kept us up to date on all the repairs from the hurricanes and had the property in ready condition as promised.

Perfect location

My husband and I had a great time at the cottage with our son, DIL, and 13 mo old granddaughter for a week over Spring Break We appreciated the location that is a short walk to North Lido Beach and St. Armand's Circle. It is also close to a trolley that can take you to downtown Sarasota. Loading up the wagon and beach gear provided by the host, we hit the beach most days and returned for sunsets. The cottage was well-equipped with everythng we needed.

Great location and great hosts

The Flamingo cottage is in a great location. Not directly on the water but only a 3 minute walk down the path. Deb and Ed have left the ambiance of a quaint cottage with all the upgrades to make it perfect.

Flamingo fling

Charming ranch style house in quiet residential area close to beach but away from crowds. Well appointed with wi-fi, big screen tv, fully equipped kitchen. Counter space for air fryer and slow cooker which we brought. Owners marvelous to work with and very supportive while one of us experienced a hospitalization. We'll be back!

Perfect Getaway

Home is lovely and well cared for. EVERYTHING you may need is supplied: coffee, plenty of towels, beach chairs, umbrella, cart. Beach access is a mere 4 minute walk away. Deb is extremely accommodating, helpful and reachable even though it was over the Christmas/New Year holidays. Walk to restaurants is a breeze. As I said, the house is perfect.

Awesome vacation home in North Lido

I Family has stayed with Deb for the second time this year. We love this location and it’s sister cottage next-door. Great location, walkable to Saint Armands Circle, and just a short walk to the beach. Great environment and the beach is not crowded typically. We will definitely stay again!

Wonderful vacation spot for adults

A beautiful bungalow near the beach. Loved all aspects of the facility. It was great for my little pup. Lots of glassware, etc. so would be hesitant w/ young kids. Fabulous location and amenities. Check in is rather late; an earlier check in can be requested. We did have issues with check in as code did not work & were exhausted after a very long drive, plus needed to be available for family events. Otherwise, hassle free & lovely. Wished I had stayed longer.

Two weeks in March 2023 on Lido Key

My sister and I have been at Flamingo before, and we love the proximity of it to the beach and to our friends who live on North Pork Drive, around the corner. The two bedroom cottage is perfect for us and is so comfortable and convenient and well appointed. We hope to be able to return to Flamingo Cottage in the years ahead. We love it there!
