Great location

We often do staycations but this was our first time staying in the Siesta Key area . We loved the location due to it's proximity to everything. The place was clean, roomy and quiet. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

Convenient and nice place

The host family takes good care of this house, are responsive to questions and reliable. We enjoyed the extras they have here: Games and Tesla charger. Straight forward check in and check out .

STAY CLEAR! HOME IS NOT SECURE AND HOST DOESN'T CARE! On the last night of our stay, we woke from a sound sleep at 3:20am by a man who ENTERED the home we rented insisting he had a reservation beginning thurs (our res was til Fri @11am) Owner blamed a "software glitch" that allowed the double book-easy out! QUESTION-how did this stranger access the house? Must have been given same code by the host that was given to us! UNACCEPTABLE! Not only that, there is not a deadbolt or any method to safeguard occupants when inside! As this guy sat in the driveway for 15 min, we had no defense if the "intruder" decided he had a right to be there. After a lack of concern and response from host, I called VRBO. First response was they couldn't do anything because we didn't contact them while still there -WHAT!! I contacted the host hoping he would step up with something other than "it was a software glitch" but he never addressed the outlandish security flaw. Now I wait to hear back from VRBO about if/what they will do. Note to all renters - got a problem with the host/property, CALL VRBO before leaving the property. Also, instist on talking with a supervisor if not satisfied! 1st VRBO guy said there was nothing they could do since I was gone and a supervisor couldn't do anything either. I insisted on a supervisor and finally was told they will investigate and sent an email My hope is they ban this host from renting. Deserves a zero! STAY CLEAR of this host
