Staff was supportive but room was horrendous. Upon entering the room we encountered 2.5 inch cakroach and few min later it was 1.5 inch cave cricket, left immediately and got full refund for which we got AirB&B for less with all amenities and beach chairs and beach tuys for our 10 and 14 year olds

Very mixed: would have requested new room if we had been staying more than a short 1 night. PROS: Staff was courteous and friendly, breakfast was delicious. Beds very clean and comfortable, pool access room wonderful! CONS: Room was in just ok condition - carpet was visibly worn and had musty / wet smell that didn't improve with time. Might have been refrigerator too?

What a terrible representation of hospitality! I've never stayed at a more dirty Holiday Inn property. I didnt expect this based on previous reviews. We checked into 248 and were astonished to find that the rear left of the toilet was 35% covered on dried urine and pubic hair! Tetting common with our recent hotel stays. We notified the front desk and the gentleman was very sorry and immediately moved us. We went to room 244. He called to mske sure everything was better, which was so nice! My husband said that it was. He daid to me "all I want to do after traveling is go to bed". The towels were covered in hair. There were pubes in the shower in this room as well, so we were 2 for 2 on cleanliness. There was a questionable stain on the duvet on the bed which may explain the dirty handprint on the ceiling as well. The air conditioner was loud and having issues making it hard to sleep. I did let Miguel know that were were moved the evening prior for the other issues and that we appreciated being moved, although had more of the same in this room. Miguel was also very sincere in his apology and said he would let the housekeeping supervisor know. I am surprised this is acceptable. Additionally, the steps from floor 2 to the lobby didn't feel safe. I have small feet and had to walk sideways down the stairs because they are so short. The woman at the desk with red hair is nasty! Doesnt talk/greet. She is not hospitable and works in service. No smile. Boo!!
