Like that the room had beach chairs and cooler for beach in room. Towels could be more plush and more than 2 per room. Tiki hut restaurant was good. Blinds do not cover front window properly. Didn’t care for all the gate and door codes.

It is currently under renovation so workers took up a lot of parking. They would be right outside your window painting and hammering etc. My room was recently renovated, the only gripes I have are that there was a window unit, that didn’t quite keep it cool enough to my liking and also a separate dehumidifier. This is a small beach motel-like resort but the pool area was immaculate and nice.

The housekeeping staffed argued with us about the amount of towels we were given. When we asked for more. We asked for towels and wash clothes. We never got wash clothes. There were 4 of us girls staying in a room. We went to the beach and pool. We used wash clothes to bathe with and wash our face with. The ac in room 124 really needs to be addressed. It was reset and that did help but it was frustrating that I had to keep calling about issues. One day we came back to our room being worked on. It was said an email and text was sent out to notify guests that their room was going to be worked on between certain hours. I did not get an email or a phone call or a text message. The manager advised that sometimes detect can bounce however I feel like there should be a back up notification, even if it means guest getting multiple notifications. Although it wasn’t a long wait, it was still upsetting because we saw all of our things on the floor and we weren’t there to secure our belongings. We were given a chance to walk-through afterwards and check our things. We were just taking a back when we came back to our room and saw the door wide open with people inside of it. We were compensated by giving us the resort fee and parking feedback. However, I feel like there should’ve been more compensation and a lot less grief that we were given when we asked for things I would say the whole stay was mediocre. The location is top-tier. The property is very nice. But needs work.

Although there was a few hiccups at the beginning of our stay, I must give props to management (Leon) for promptly correcting our circumstances. There was A LOT of confusion in correspondence (front office) with our late arrival, but after several messages, we did finally get our room entrance code right before their office closed. The rooms on the upper floor above our original assigned room were under construction, so be aware. We arrived at 3am & construction began at 7:45am. Once Leon heard of our unfortunate situation (within an hour), he immediately moved us to a beautiful upgraded suite. So, although we had a bit of a rocky start, the remainder of our stay was beyond wonderful. They definitely went above what we expected & we are so grateful for their quick & accommodating care. This is our 3rd stay with Siesta Key Beach Resort. The renovated rooms are beautiful, the grounds are pristine, the amenities are plentiful, and management cares❤️
