The cabin offered a quiet place to rest, relax after a day of shopping in the town of Helen. Well stocked kitchen. Hot tub and firepit were both nice amenities. Management company was responsive to messaging. The road directions need to have better signage and the actual drive to the cabin on hill had some divots that need to be addressed. Best to find cabin in daytime and not at night.

Girls Trip

Our group of 6 stayed at Haven Haus and it was great!! The house is beautiful and secluded. It’s great when Wi-Fi is also offered for service when you’re tucked in the woods like that. We would definitely return! Thanks so much!!

Nice clean cabin with everything we needed!!... We were in town for a wedding so we didn’t get to spend much time enjoying the fire pit or hot tub, but we did enjoy our stay. Communication with property management was timely, and we had no issues with checking in or out… The only negative is the same as previous reviews regarding directions, as the road to get there is a little hard to find. The instructions they send you are pretty accurate but it looks like you’re entering a driveway. It is a narrow dirt road, and it is a little rough to drive on, but we didn’t have an issue getting there in a small sedan. It really isn’t that bad once you find it, even at night, but if you’re arriving for the first time at night, it may be quite challenging. There isn’t a street sign for the road the cabin is on, but there is a sign for another cabin called “Enchanted Forest Hideaway”. That is where you need to turn. I just highly recommend checking in during the day if possible… Great stay overall!

Friends Getaway

Location was perfect, property was just right for our group, directions were accurate. The only issue was the road to property could use some repair. It is access for multiple properties and it is a bit bumpy. Overall it was a great experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Haven Haus and especially loved spending time on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub, it’s such a peaceful spot to unwind.A few things to keep in mind:If you plan to cook during your stay, be sure to bring all your own ingredients, as the kitchen doesn’t include any basic pantry staples. That was a first for us when renting a vacation home and something I wish I’d known in advance. Even with good directions, the house was a bit tricky to locate after dark, and the road leading in from the main road is rough and uneven, so take it slow.Overall, the home was comfortable, the cleanliness was decent, and the setting made for a relaxing getaway. With a few small tweaks, it could be an even more enjoyable stay.

We found dead roaches upon arrival. The kitchen drawer with utensils would not pull out and I had to fix it. The rug in the hall is a trip hazard. No ice trays in the freezer. AC did not cool the upstairs.

Can do things better

First of all, the GPS took us to the back of the property with a locked gate. No one replied to the email until a few hours later, with WRONG INFORMATION. Luckily we came across a person in the area that told us this happens ALL THE TIME.Once we got on the right road, we still couldn’t find the cabin. Again we found someone else to help us find the cabin. The address & name of the cabin was posted so far inside the lot it was a miracle we found the place. ( the roads need some attention as well) Gets even better, once we got to the cabin it starts storming rain and the key is in a lock box with a combo, but I was never sent the combo in advance. I emailed again, and I was sent the wrong combo a few times. I luckily found a direct number hidden in an email and FINALLY got the right combo. At this point it been was over 2 plus hours dealing with this, after driving over 9 hours. I’ve been to this area several times before and I must say, I will have second thoughts in the future. I must say the cabin was very nice, but finding the place is a different story.

Cute Place for Girls Weekend

This was a cute little cabin perfect for our girls weekend. Cabin is close to Helen, Nacoochee area, hiking, etc. The cabin was clean and as described. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Getting to cabin OK - we arrived at 2AM and navigating in dark was a little difficult. Road to cabin is gravel road and narrow, but we navigated fine. We were in a full size SUV; a car may have a little difficulty navigating. I would definitely stay here again.

Needs directions and maintenance

Our experience started off with problems. No directions on the website. Google maps, gets you close but without specific directions it is difficult to find. Road going to the property is in poor condition. The email I received was supposed to give me the code to the lock box. It did not. Had to wait for a call back to get the code. By now it was about 9:30pm. You have to leave messages for the management company and wait for a return call. We found trash under the beds and dead bugs that look like they had been there a while. Property needs serious maintenance. There is rotted wood on the steps, decking and railing around the porch. Ceiling fans clicked very loudly and had to be turned down to low in order to sleep. There is no dishwasher, so you will need to be ready to hand was all your dishes. On the good side, it is close to Hellen.

Nice but needs some updates

We enjoyed the design and lay out of this property but there are several updates that need to take place as well as some deep cleaning in the kitchen. Also, the American Flag needs changed as it was dirty and ripped, disappointing for our vetran guest. The deck needs some rotten boards replaced and the couches are extremely broken down. Also, the pretty lights on the house are not as shown in the pictures.

Great Cabin "in the woods"

It was a very comfortable space, had everything you need. Hot tub worked great. I hate not having a dishwasher but I'm spoiled. Great plush towels, all white. Water was nice and hot. Drive to cabin a bit sketchy, rough, some erosion that was a bit dicey to navigate but we made it fine. Loved our stay over all.
