This spacious apartment, in an elegant residence in the heart of the charming village of Grangesises, sleeps 6 people and makes an exciting holiday destination for friends or a family at any time of year.

The apartment is on the first floor and the living area, which overlooks the central piazza, has a corner sofa with fresh gingham covers, a flat-screen digital TV and an attractive wooden dresser. The dining table, in the open plan kitchen area, has seating for 4 people, whilst the kitchenette is equipped with a cooker hob, microwave and fridge.

Location
The village of Grangesises is just a 5-minute drive from the resort of Sestriere. The village has almost no traffic, so is ideal for children and families to enjoy the piazza or the charming, cobbled streets.

Nearby Sestriere has a lot to offer. In the winter months, the slopes around the resort suit skiers and snowboarders of all levels. There is cross-country skiing, heli-skiing, ice skating, motor sledging, dog sledging and snowshoeing. There is even an outdoor swimming pool (heated) which is open in the winter and summer seasons.

During the summer months, Grangesises and its surroundings offer visitors a rich programme of entertainment, cultural and sports events for adults and children. There are sports days and fitness weekends with certified personal trainers. The location of the Grange Hike & Ski apartments is ideal for those in search of wilderness and unspoilt nature. The neighbouring valleys, such as the Argentera Valley and the Vallone di Thuras, offer a network of trails with varying degrees of difficulty, and it is possible to organise guided outings with environmental hiking guides by prior booking. There are also numerous routes in the area for mountain bike and downhill enthusiasts at all levels. For our guests, there are discounts in affiliated shops for e-bike and muscle bike hire. The nearby Sestriere offers an internationally renowned golf course (18 holes, par 65), a swimming pool and tennis courts. For the summer of 2023, the stages of the trial motorbike and enduro bike world championships are scheduled at the end of July, and in the first week of August the important international athletics meeting and the Sestriere film festival. History lovers should not miss the re-enactment of the battle of Assietta in July and the guided visits to the Fortress of Fenestrelle and the Chaberton museum in Claviere. In Grangesises and Sestriere there are many excellent restaurants and bars to suit all tastes and budgets. For self-catering, Sestriere offers supermarkets (the nearest is a 10-minute drive away) and small shops selling local specialities. Turin airport is 1 hour and 30 minutes\' drive from the flat.
