I chose this hotel based on its positive reviews about the breakfast variety, but my experience was disappointing. I went down for breakfast at 8:40 am, and the food was cold. Many options were already gone, with no refills for waffles, sausages, and barely any hot potatoes available. It was clear that there was a lack of oversight to ensure enough food for all guests. I had to specifically ask for the sausage and waffle mix to be replenished.

Hotel was comfortable. They could do a better job cleaning the lobby and outdoor areas. Staff was not the greatest. Free breakfast was bad and the 2nd day they didn't even have breakfast. Won't stay here again

While the stay was different than I’m used to, it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t fantastic either. I knew the property was right by the air field for Hunter AAF, the noise level from people inside the hotel was ridiculous. Room floors felt gross and moist, pillows weren’t much of a selection. 1 small pillow or 1 hard pillow for each guest. Internet connection was wide open for anyone and everyone. Overall for the price of 2 nights, it was a little ridiculous! For the price I paid I’d go stay in historic areas but for being close to Greyson Stadium was the only reason I stayed.

Was across from army air base so you got to hear the noise of the helicopters. They were cool to see though. Beds comfortable, pool and hot tub were nice and warm. Could see light around the door of the room and heard constant slamming of doors every night. Gave us a room with roll in shower so had to use handheld shower head to try to take shower with. That was a disaster.

Check in was a drag after driving from Texas. I still have a state DL was told that they don’t rent to locals after my room was paid for in full and drove 14 hours..but the young lady who checked me in was super sweet I forgot her name I think it was Samara she deserve a raise. The beds felt like sleeping on hard plastic. On our last night there the toilet backed up and there was no maintenance available or plunger. The front desk agent at the time (male) didn’t or couldn’t assist with the toilet issue. I asked for extra towels and didn’t even get that after exchanging dirty towels, I was told I had to wait. And still didn’t get the towels. Horrible experience and will be contacting the BBB!

Cleaning Service Issues

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights. My recommendation is that if you have issues with the cleaning service, address those concerns directly with the hotel manager. She addressed our issues immediately. Otherwise, this is a very nice facility, and I would stay here again.

I was not going to share my review of this property because they offered to make it right, but when the smoke cleared (and all of the credit card holds fell) it turns out… they didn’t. My regret now is that I didn’t take the pictures of the over flowing trash cans or the repulsively filthy “welcome” at at the door or the blackened arms of the chair and couch in the living area. The pillow on the beds were approximately half of a standard pillow and the bed was like laying in a board. That feeling of laying on a board was in stark contrast to the sofas bed which felt like springs with a blanket covering them. You could not feel any padding over them. My kids didn’t want to sleep on it which made our sleeping conditions even more crowded. The floor that had time on it in the bathroom area was sticky and you could hear your shoes make as they stuck to it when you walked. When we walked in the room, it smelled like mist feet. HOWEVEE none of that was my biggest problem. My biggest problem was that I have a mold allergy and I could not sleep all night long for being stopped up, sneezing, having itchy, watery eyes, and my throat burning and itching. I take seasonal allergy medicine but I had to add 3 Benadryl and some throat spray to try to soothe it, which it did not. That was the kicker. My allergies were not flared up when I arrived and they calmed down once we left. That left me with the major concern that there was probably mold somewhere (vents, carpet).
