It's very beautiful. Be careful on the stairs. They are marble floors. I fell on.a small step and fractured my wrist and my pelvic bone along with hitting my head on the floor and had 5 stitches over my right.eye.

The hotel is located on the waterfront in downtown Savannah. The in house restaurant is good and convenient. I attended a conference there. Meeting rooms are ample for a conference of 400. Receptions were well run. It was easy to stroll around the historic area and shopping district. Transportation in the area is quick and readily available. Overall a great experience.

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but I think it's a bit old and pricey for the condition. I understand the location is great but the hotel needs updating. I think in the future I will choose a hotel a block of two off River Street vs. paying for an overpriced hotel due to the location. And, $50 to park after paying high room rates, is ridiculous.
