The Thompson is hands-down the best place we have ever stayed in Savannah. This is our second visit to the city and our second stay at this hotel. Excellent long weekend stay. Location is great. Away from hustle and bustle of downtown yet 3 min drive/ 10 minute walk away from River St. Enjoyed morning strolls along riverwalk. Coffee shop adjacent to hotel was perfect. Staff was courteous and went above and beyond. This will be our new go to when we return to Savannah.
