I was booked through Expedia for 6 nights. The hotel was unacceptable in a very unsafe area and no parking onsite. I checked out after one night and was told I’d be refunded for the remaining nights. Expedia was a complete disappointment. They never contacted CitizenM to get my refund. After years of using Expedia - I won’t use them again. The one time I have a problem and they do nothing.

After driving for 3 1/2 hours, I was unhappy to have to stand for about 10 minutes to check in at my own kiosk where things were not labeled which slowed down the process. It would’ve been much nicer to have one of the two people standing there that worked at the hotel actually check me in. Also, there’s no parking except for on the street, which was all marked as no parking so we had to park three blocks away and walk in the snowy rain back to the hotel

We had never heard of CitizenM Hotels, but when we had an emergency need for a room around 8pm, we were met by a very friendly and helpful staff. Small but extremely comfortable and spotless room. We had a spectacular view of the ferry building and enjoyed watching boats coming and going. My husband slept for 7 hours (he usually only gets 5 hours of sleep). Easy walk to Lumen Field one direction and Pike Place the other direction.

The premises are impeccably clean. Check-in and out is so convenient. Some of the staff are extremely helpful. However, the neighborhood is really unsafe. If you are planning to use public transportation, forget it, because the closest stations are pretty shady, day and night.

Citizen M in Pioneer Square is such a great hotel. The staff were incredible.The breakfast was delicious and bar area had great staff members. Will definitely be coming here for my next stay in Seattle.

The location is perfect. It is walkable from the light rail station, the waterfront, and Lumen Field. The room was a tiny, relaxing space with a lovely view of the water. We enjoyed the cozy space and the ability to change the lighting from a tablet. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet.

I have zero complaints about my stay! Check in was easy as there was an employee stationed by the kiosks to assist and walk me through the whole process. Keycard needed after 7pm to enter and at all times to go up to the floors on the elevator, area is walkable to Pike place market and across the street from ferry. Love the technology with the iPads to control everything in the room, and having access from the app as well. Forgot to put the heat on when we were out and was able to do it from the restaurant so we could warm up when we got back. Area feels safe as well, we walked back from the bar at 2am and felt fine!

The rooms are small. Good for solo traveller's as opposed to couples. The area its self had some good restaurants. It’s a 15mi. walk to Pike Place market. The boardwalk is close with pretty views.. Staff was helpful and friendly. Everything is high tech with self checking and check out. iPad to close the blinds and turn the TV on and off. Beds were comfortable. The food was decent at the hotel. Over cool concept. Rooms could be a bit bigger to accommodate two people.

This hotel is nearby all touristy spots. The only thing that is not walkable is the Space Needle but that was an inexpensive uber ride away. Breakfast is great and you can leave your luggage in a safe space during checkout and return when you are ready to go!
