Fantastic place. It's not the hotel's fault, but anybody who's seen downtown Seattle after 9 pm knows you can't give above a 3 for "area around the property". It's what 80's sci-fi dystopia movies thought the late 90's would be like.

I don’t recommend unless you want front desk staff to yell at you in a condescending manner in front of all the people in line behind you. Coast Seattle Downtown was actually really nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fast and easy. The room was nice, with a terrific view (and fantastic shower pressure!).
