Hotel is great, pool was warm for us. I do an annual night out in a hotel with my daughter during the Christmas season. Last year I couldn’t book two queens so this year I was reminded by my daughter to get 2 queens. I booked last week ensuring two queens and high level floor. Showed up and only had a king available so I’ll be in the bed on wheels tonight. We’re having a great time and I understand overbooking. Just was a bummer to not have the two queens. Not sure if this is an Expedia fumble or Hyatt but will come again next year most likely. She’s having a blast being downtown and up high.

The hotel itself is very nice. Loved the holiday decor, coffee shop and Christmas store. The giant tree in the lobby was gorgeous. The pool was a little cold. We had to wait to check in passed 4pm. Our room wasn’t ready until 440pm. We had reservations for dinner at 5pm so we had to rush. The walls are also very thin. We could hear everything.

Jack at the front desk was amazing. All the other front desk folks that I encountered were rude, arrogant and had an Un-helping attitude. They need to improve on this really badly.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the years and have always appreciated its comfort and location. However, over our last four stays we have consistently noticed that the reception staff does not seem welcoming. Unfortunately, they often appear disengaged or unhappy, which creates a very different atmosphere from what we experienced in the past. Most recently, I requested to add one more night to our stay. Because the original reservation was made through Expedia, I was told—without any alternatives—that nothing could be done. Instead of offering a solution or directing us to someone who could assist, the interaction ended there. As a result, the hotel missed an opportunity for additional business. I am sharing this feedback in the hope that it is helpful for management, as we truly enjoy staying at this property and would love to continue doing so. Strengthening the front desk service would make a meaningful difference in the overall guest experience.

Room service for cleaning the rooms didn’t happen until 5pm. We had to order new towels. That was the only unexpected thing. Otherwise, great.
