This is a new property that is well maintained. Rooms are spacious and come with free access to a modern gym and pool. Free buffet breakfast. Rooms facing the highway (west side) are noisy due to traffic and nearby train tracks with trains passing by every 4-5 minutes. Ask for an east facing room. There is no hot tub and breakfast buffet is extremely busy on the weekends.

The good: Friendly, efficient desk clerks. New property which is well maintained. Spacious clean room, ample parking. Well equipped spacious exercise room. Clean pool. The bad: Self service restaurant buffet was a disaster. Only two employees assigned to handle the entire breakfast operation. They ran out of milk, food containers were empty, coffee pots empty, dirty dishes everywhere, not enough seating. A lot of unhappy guests. Noise all night long from passing trains which run every few minutes. This impacts rooms on the west side of the building. Room was not adequately soundproofed. No daily housekeeping service. Nice lobby however coffee and tea station is not stocked on a regular basis. Parking charge excessive. This property has great potential but is definitely falling short of that potential, in ways I previously described.

The hotel and hotels.com essentially stole my money, I never checked into the room. I did not book for that date however their system that I did and I was unable to change it when I requested a refund, they simply called the hotel and said well they didn’t check in so that’s their fault. They don’t get arefund but I did not book the hotel for that date. When I arrived to the hotel on the day that I actually did book it for they indicated that my reservation was not used and that I was a no-show and I had to purchase a last-minute room at almost double the price.

It's a new hotel, so in general the amenities are modern and in decent shape still. The room itself was fine. There are blackout curtains, a decent kitchen (though we didn't use it), and a workable washroom with shower. The bed was comfortable, although the pillows were too thin. You are right next to the interstate and light rail, and while you can hear both, especially after 7 a.m., there is enough soundproofing that it's not too bad. We had three main complaints: 1) No housekeeping in the rooms. There was a note out when we checked in on Christmas night that there was no housekeeping on the 24th and 25th. We didn't expect to have no housekeeping on the 26th, as well. 2) $25/night for parking out in the suburbs, in a parking lot that is empty except for the hotel area. There's no need to charge for parking like downtown (or maybe you should just pay the same price and stay downtown and not listen to the freeway and light rail). 3) Breakfast. On a holiday, only until 9 a.m., and isn't that when you'd want to sleep in? When we were able to go on the weekend, when it's open until 9:30, there were tons of people and it was seriously understaffed and missing lots of things. The "crustless quiche"s weren't bad. But if you want a spoon to eat your cereal or yogurt, or want coffee, you're screwed, because there's one poor guy trying to keep up with the 50+ people trying to eat at once. Overall, it was close to our family, but we'll probably stay elsewhere next time.

The hotel was excellent! Beautifully appointed rooms, quiet… very nice. (Only complaint for management is charging $25 per night to park in a massive lot. No need for such an over-the-top money grab from patrons. Even $15 would be reasonable. Oddly enough there are non-check-in street side parking spaces available that are unmarked and do not require payment. When I inquired with the front desk upon check in, they advised that those spaces also require payment (outside the parking structure). I call BS. The hotel would be hard pressed to charge a fee for street side parking spaces especially since there is no signage indicating that said spaces require payment. Hotel great! Money grab …not so great.
