We were looking for a hotel in Seattle where we could walk or use public transport to get to many of the museums & attractions. Staypineapple-Hotel Five met those requirements. The location is within walking distance of the Space Needle, Pike Place Market, Pier 55, Seattle Aquarium, Chihuly Garden & Glass, and Museum of Pop Culture. The hotel is decorated in a modern, black/red/yellow color scheme, which carries through to the guest rooms. The lobby area has a coffee bar, beer/wine bar (not open during our stay), a games area with board games, giant Scrabble board, shuffleboard, and 3 arcade video game tables. We had some game nights, after all of our activities & was a nice way to close out a day. We initially booked a Metro Two Queen room, but Hotel Five changed our reservation to a Urban Two Queen room - the difference being a walk-in shower vs a tub/shower. It was not a deal breaker for us. These rooms do not have a refrigerator or microwave but do have a Kcup coffee maker in-room. The beds do not have top sheets, only down duvets with covers that are changed out regularly. Bikes are available to borrow from hotel. For us, this location and configuration worked well.

Complementary reusable water bottle was a hit! Free drink vouchers were great. Loved the colorful doors and local road signs used as art. Beddings were soft. Only thing that needs improvement are the thin walls. My neighbor was watching TV super loudly until 3 am so I kept waking up from sudden sounds.
