This is our favorite property in Sedona. Other hotels have gotten ridiculously expensive, so we love that Arabella has stayed affordable. Its also a beautiful property, and the rooms are lovely and clean. Staff are amazing. Geoff upgraded us to a room that really shows off the gorgeous grounds. Thank you for that. We will definitely be back.

Im 69 years old and this was absolutely the worst experience my wife and I have ever had checking into a hotel. First..I requested an early check-in at 1pm. I was told they would try to accommodate us at 1pm. We arrived at 12:30 and our room was not ready. The gentleman behind the counter told us to check back in an hour. No problem, but ong story short, we waited for 3 1/2 hours for our room. After waiting for 3 hours and 3 trips to the front desk asking 3 different desk assistants whether our room was ready., and since we were clearly the only couple waiting to check in, I asked them if they contacted the housekeeping staff and instructed them to expedite our room cleaning since we waiting and I was in pain! THERE WERE 4 EMPLOYEES AT THE DESK, AND THEY ALL JUST LOOKED AT ME. I have very bad arthritis and I was in agony and they said I could sit in the lobby and watch tv. I told them I was in pain and needed a bed. We saw other couples come 2 and 3 hours later and get right into their rooms. They let us wait and did not attempt to have housekeeping clean our room since we were waiting and requested it FOR 3 1/2 hours. WE ARE SO DISGUSTED BY THE DESK'S LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, and lack of compassion. Never in my life have I requested an early check in to have it blatantly igored. Then to top it off when we got our room, and we schlepped our luggage through the lobby, we were stopped and told our room was in a different building! Horrible experience. Never again!

Great views and comfortable bed. Bathrooms need updating for this offseason price point for sure. Restaurant and breakfast was outstanding. We did not have an upgraded view as paid and promised but not in the room much so not an issue.

The start of our second trip to Sedona as a family wasn’t as great as we had hoped. Despite booking the most expensive guest room, the view from our room was quite different from the Sedona scenery I had imagined and longed for, which left both my daughter and me very disappointed. Moreover, when we checked in, I noticed that the lobby was being repainted. I assumed that was all. However, when we returned to our room the next day after going out, we found that the paint smell lingered inside, suggesting that our room had also been freshly retouched. Because of this, we had to keep the door open for over an hour to ventilate, despite the freezing temperature of -1°C. I cannot understand why such maintenance work was done without prior notice. Perhaps the hotel considered it a minor repair and carried it out alongside regular cleaning, but for guests who had not even checked out yet—especially parents with young children sensitive to respiratory issues—this was a serious problem. However, since it was only our second day and we had limited time, we decided not to raise a complaint. We had a satisfying meal at a Mexican restaurant and a relaxing outdoor spa session, which left us feeling content nonetheless. Additionally, the staff’s attitude and breakfast options were excellent, so we chose to overlook the issue. That said, if any hotel staff sees this review, I sincerely hope they take note of such details and make improvements.

The hotel is a bit dated. I don’t think it’s worth the daily resort fee we had to pay. There’s no elevator. There was also an odor of glue for 2 days because they were fixing the bathtubs and only when I complained did someone think to open the windows at each end of the hallway to air out the hallway.

I have 0 complaints on the property. They were wonderful and it’s a beautiful place and great location. My only complaint was the room next door which is not their fault. Apparently the parents left all 8 kids in a room. I’m assuming 8 because it was SO Loud until 3 in the morning . I didn’t complain since I was there for one night but lack of sleep and at the airport onto my next flight isn’t fun. Unfortunately the walls are very thin. But the resort wonderful! This is a one off situation I just ended up next to a bad room
