Our little Maxwell House Hideaway is ideally located in the heart of West Sedona. A 1 block walk to one of the best trailheads in Sedona, Teacup Trailhead, a gateway to a huge network of trails. It is an adorable, newly remodeled efficiency apartment in the lower part of the main house. It has its own private entrance, driveway, and outdoor sitting area. It`s the perfect spot for a couple or single person`s getaway to Sedona. Our apt is everything you need in a basecamp for your stay in Sedona.

It is an adorable, newly remodeled efficiency apartment in the lower part of the main house. It has its own private entrance, driveway, and outdoor sitting area. It`s the perfect little spot for one or two people to getaway to Sedona.
The space
This apartment is everything you need for your home base in Sedona. The space was recently remodeled into a studio apartment that has a new queen bed, new queen size memory foam sofa bed, a new full kitchenette, bathroom, sitting and dining area/work station and private outdoor sitting area.
The kitchenette is equipped with a full size refrigerator/top freezer, microwave, Cuisanart 2 burner induction hot plate, `Wolf convection/ toaster oven`, full size sink, electric tea kettle, coffee maker, coffee bean grinder, French press and all the kitchen supplies and equipment to prepare meals.
The sleeping arrangement is a super comfy queen size memory foam bed and very comfortable new queen size memory foam mattress sofa bed in the sitting area with extra linens and pillows.
The bathroom has a spacious shower stall, sink, vanity and toilet. Stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toilet paper and cleaning supplies.
There is a table and chairs that doubles as the dining area and work station.
The apartment has a gas stove for heat and ambience as well as air conditioning for the warm months.
It has its own private outdoor area that offers either shade or sun, whichever you`re wanting at the moment. There is also a patio that is perfect for tuning bikes or storing them. There is not a washer/dryer but there is a very clean laundromat nearby that offers drop off service. This space can be rented independently or in conjunction to the main house. The upstairs main part of the house is a separate AirBnB rental. Please contact the host if you`re interested in a larger place.
Guest access
Guests have access to 1-2 parking space in the lower driveway, the apartment, the sitting area outside of the apartment. The main house and its yard areas, carport are not available to renters of just the apartment.

The neighborhood is very quiet and mellow. Predominately retired residents. Music and voices must be kept low and respectful while outside. If I receive complaints, I will contact you in response. Thank you in advance for being respectful of our lovely neighborhood and thoughtful to our neighbors.
They have access to 2 parking space in the lower driveway, the apartment, the sitting area outside of the apartment. The main house and its yard areas, carport are not available to renters of just the apartment.
I will not physically be available but am always available via text or phone call. My neighbor/cohost, Barbara, is there if you need any assistance as well.
Our neighborhood is very quiet, quaint and convenient to trails, shopping, restaurants, movie theaters, grocery stores, bike shop, etc...all within a few minutes walk or drive. And, you DON`T have to go through the traffic and bottlenecks of the roundabouts or Uptown!
We`re only 1 block from the `Teacup/Sugar Loaf` trailhead. An easy hike from our house to one of the BEST sunset spots in all of Sedona. People come from all over to watch the sunset, do yoga and connect with the energies of the vortex on top of our little `front yard` mountain. Sugar Loaf is one of the local energy vortexes. There are severals trails that are accessed from this trailhead...Thunder Mountain, Chimney Rock, Adante, Teacup, Sugar Loaf
Groome Shuttle service can drop you off at the front door or can drop you at one of their designated pick up/drop off locations in town.

The upstairs main house is another AirBnB rental that can be rented separately or with the studio apartment.

In efforts to respect our neighbors, we limit the number of cars to 1-2 and only parking in our lower driveway (no street parking). We also ask that you keep music and sound voices down while outside. Please avoid slamming the door.
I suggest that you purchase travel insurance to cover yourself in case unforeseen changes arise. This is available through AirBnB and other companies.
We also kindly ask you to leave your bikes and dirty boots outside.
The Wifi is the fastest I can get in Sedona...Please be patient and remember where you are...It`s not the same as what you get in a big city!

Good quiet location which allows walking to close trails and short drives to restaurants. The room stays cool and dark when the weather is hot. The walk to the outside entrance is well-lit and safe. The owner is very responsive, and the written instructions are clear and sufficient.

We loved our stay here! The apartment was clean and cute and super close to everything we needed. We walked to the trails at the Sugarloaf TH every day and got a chance to walk over to Oak Creek Brewery for some live music. Only a quick drive over to Uptown and other trails to explore. Sarah was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. This was our first time in Sedona and the great rental made it even more special.
