If I had known that they had a 10AM check out time, I NEVER would have booked this place! Part of being on vacation is the ability to SLEEP IN! I have NEVER had this early of a check out in my 30+ years of travelling (I have stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world, and have NEVER experienced anything like this! When I found out about the timing upon check in, I of course asked for a later checkout, but they refused! I then asked to speak to a manager, who wasn't available, but the woman said MANY people have complained about this and they NEVER make exceptions. What?!? I then asked if I could send the manager an email or something and was told the only thing I could do was write them a note (on paper) which they would see in the morning. Um, if the manager won't see it until the morning, that does not help me sleep in or check out later! :/ They said the reasoning was because they need time to clean the rooms, but I had stayed at 5 hotels (in Vegas, the Grand Canyon, etc.) in just that week and NO ONE had a check out time earlier than 11am (and, in fact, they were all willing to let me check out later, at noon, at no extra cost). So why would this one hotel, out of the thousands (millions? ALL OTHERS) who have later check out times need more time to clean than anyone else? And, by the way, check IN time wasn't until 4pm, so I'm sorry, but you need 6 HOURS to clean a room?!? NEVER AGAIN!
This literally RUINED our first time vacationing in Sedona!
