My second time here. While the pool area and room was fantastic as always, friendly staff etc. Unfortunately I got the worst food poisoning from the hotel. I was only eating on site during my 7 day stay. This wrote off 2 of my nights/days. There was no attempt from staff to even ask where I had eaten etc, my partner overheard at breakfast 2 other people complain about having food poisoning the same night having only eaten there. At check out time I was too sick still to do anything, they couldn’t offer somewhere to lie down (other than paying $300 for another 3 hours in the room) and ended up waiting in Dome for 6 hours until it was time to go to the airport. While i really enjoyed my first trip and the first half of this one, how badly I got sick and the hotels response I doubt I will be coming back. Not at $700 a night to lie in agony and unable to eat or drink, not acceptable from a hotel of this calibre.

We had an excellent stay at the property. The room was very well-thought out in terms of the layout and the amenities that were available to us. The waterfront restaurant, the fusion restaurant and the beach club all had exceptional service. We were a bit disappointed that the hotel representatives told us about "Sunset Park" but failed to mention that it's a rooftop bar. We only wandered up there on our last day and it would have been nice to know about it beforehand so we could have full enjoyed it!

Amazing experience. We were upgraded and showered with complimentary add ons such as free cocktails in the room and birthday cake. Having a plant based restaurant on site was such a great bonus for my partner who is vegan. I loved that you could order as much food as you liked, a la carte, for breakfast. This is an extremely unique property! It felt like a little village with great restaurants and shops. The decor is very striking and original. The pools were great, especially the Beach Club. And the beach access is terrific. The staff was pleasant and attentive from the moment our taxi pulled up to check in. Highly recommend staying here!

Potato head is amazing. Staff kind, friendly welcoming. Breakfast outstanding delicious with the best view looking over the ocean. Fun vibe will stay again

The property itself was great but the best was the superb service from every one working at the hotel. Everybody in the hotel went far and beyond to provide us with the best quality service every minute of our stay. I recommend this hotel 100%+++!

Potato Head was a DREAM hotel for our honeymoon. We actually didn't enjoy Seminyak very much as we are not big party people but Potato Head was like a perfect oasis with some partying if we wanted! Everything is thought of, from activities included or for a very reasonable fee, takeaway eco-friendly amenities, and super friendly and genuine staff. We ended up staying for 5 nights in total because we loved it so much. 100% the best choice we could have made. There's a reason people love this hotel. Nothing but good stuff to say. Also I will say I think Tanaman, the vegan restaurant on site is massively overlooked because it's vegan but the breakfast is SO GOOD and they even have their own homemade coconut milk with cinnamon??? Don't miss it. Take me back, right now.
