In a natural and peaceful environment, independent 18th century house located on 2 acres of private garden partly wooded, in the center of the Lot and the Regional Park of the Quercy. Carefully restored with traditional materials and know-how it is equipped as a second home with modern comfort whose authenticity has been preserved.
Its ideal location in the middle of the highlights of the Lot and Quercy (Cahors, Rocamadour, Saint Cirq Lapopie, Figeac, Pech-Merle cave) limits travel and leaves you more time for hiking, mountain biking, caving and canoeing. Unless you simply prefer to enjoy the peacefulness and nature by dining under the tree before enjoying the starry sky (black triangle in the Lot and Quercy)

    Well equipped and comfortable. Sufficiently remote for peace and quiet but close enough to many of the Lot's delights. The owner was very helpful with providing regional information.

    Un séjour inoubliable

    Un très bon séjour dans une région que nous ne connaissions pas. Idéalement situé au coeur des Causses, la maison confortable et nichée dans un parc arboré naturel, permet de rayonner dans un kilométrage acceptable pour la visite de sites d'exception. Pech Merle, Saint Cirq Lapopie, les phosphatières, .... Amateurs de marche et de bons plats du terroir, nous avons été comblés.

    l'endroit est tranquille, isolé dans le Causse (un peu difficile à localiser la première fois); le silence est permanent: la circulation sur la départementale voisine est quasi nulle; les équipements sont complets et opérationnels; le seul inconvénient est la difficulté à avoir parfois du réseau pour téléphoner ou joindre internet;

    On rêve déjà d’y retourner!!

    Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour. La maison est vraiment très agréable et son jardin un vrai bonheur. Très bon accueil, de nombreux conseils nous ont été donnés pour découvrir la région. On s’est senti chouchouter par nos hôtes. Très bien équipé. Vraiment rien à dire tout était parfait.

    Séjour délicieux !

    Nous avons profité avec beaucoup de plaisir de cette maison très agréable et bien entretenue, fidèle à la présentation sur le site. Le temps était très agréable les premiers jours et nous avons bien profité du grand jardin et fait de chouettes balades à vélo sur les petites routes très tranquilles ; il a fait un peu plus frais et humide par la suite et le poêle a été bien utile ! Les oiseaux nous ont enchantés toute la semaine (on a identifié notamment une grive musicienne au chant merveilleux...enfin on pense que c'était cet oiseau là).

    Une semaine formidable !

    Tout a été parfait pour notre séjour ! Nous remercions le propriétaire pour ses délicates attentions à notre arrivée, et aussi pour toutes les informations qu'il transmet avant le séjour pour que nous puissions profiter au mieux des innombrables trésors de la région ! Alain et Sophie qui s'occupent du gîte, nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux et sympathique, ce sont deux personnes adorables et très disponibles, nous avons été contents de faire leur connaissance. Le gîte est charmant, très propre, bien entretenu, l'électroménager est récent et bien adapté, c'est tout confort ! La literie est très confortable. L'extérieur est tout aussi charmant, vous aurez certainement la visite des bîches dans le jardin ! La maison est isolée mais pas trop, c'est parfait pour se ressourcer. Bref nous y avons passé un séjour vraiment très agréable !

    Nous avons aimé ce séjour dans un lieu qui correspondait et au delà à ce que nous cherchions.

    L'accueil de Sophie et sa famille à été simple et chaleureux. Ils de sont souciés de nous. Les liens téléphoniques avec Hervé nous ont fait sentir hôtes privilégiés. La maison est très agréable à vivre et le terrain n'a cessé de nous offrir de nouveaux espaces de découverte. Se promener avec un livre entre la mare, les taillis, les enclos et les ruines cachées......se poser. Nous avons suivi les chemins et leurs murets de pierres sèches. Nous avons vécu dans un temps suspendu en savourant avec gourmandise les chants des oiseaux, la beauté à voir partout... et les gâteaux du boulanger. Le printemps est arrivé au début de notre séjour, nous solliciterons le plaisir de revenir voir d'autres saisons sous le tilleul qui a doucement déplié ses feuilles pour ombrager nos agapes.
