The hotel appears to be a hub for large organized Chinese tour groups. Our room smelled strongly of cigarettes despite being designated non-smoking. When we requested a different room, we were moved to one located directly next to the elevator. The hallways also reeked of cigarette smoke, as the non-smoking policy does not seem to be enforced. The tour groups were loud and the hotel felt crowded at all hours. Beginning around 6 AM, there were loud conversations in the hallways, making it very difficult to sleep. If you are looking for a quiet stay or hope to sleep in, this hotel is not a good choice.

Very pleasantly surprised after arriving here on our first day in Sendai. The staff were very attentive, patient, and thorough. The rooms were clean and decently sized. The location was also very convenient and the breakfast is a major bonus. The options were very diverse and tasty, highly recommend when staying here.

Excellent hotel with great staff. The location really can’t be beat - it’s basically at the center of everything and right near the station, too. Also the staff was very accommodating and friendly, equipped with translation devices or simply good English skills (which was very helpful for an English-only guest like me). Everything else was very comfortable and every service I needed felt within an arm’s reach. Well worth the price should you be able to afford it; would highly recommend!

Reservation type was not accurate

The hotel was clean and easily accessible. Unfortunately they screwed up the reservation and told me they couldn’t I hadn’t paid for the breakfast when I had. It took multiple chats with Hotels.com support and I finally got the meal tickets but only for one day out of the two day stay. A refund was not provided. We didn’t miss much since the breakfast was pretty basic, but still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

This hotel has an excellent location, close to downtown and 5 min walk to Sendai Station. I really liked the room, it was really comfy and wide compared to other similar hotels.

This hotel is located conveniently within walking distance from the major Sendai Station. The vicinity has a lot of shopping malls, restaurants and convenience stores. The room is super cozy and comfortable. They have washing machine and dryer (reasonable charge) on 2nd Floor. Mircowave and Ice Cubes also available on that floor if required. They also have iron and ironing board (requestable from reception) in the event you need.

Staff were very professional, patient and accommodating throughout my entire stay. Although there was a language barrier, communication was easily transmitted. It is a very nice Hankyu group hotel in Sendai. Hotel does not have parking so you need to find parking place from their recommended parking, but you may find the one near the hotel and it will take just a few minutes walk from the hotel.
