So far so good

Two things I didn't like the hostel. 1. It was located at a back street full of eateries. It was very loud at night when we opened the window. If you close the window and have the ac on, it would be fine. However, we went in May, it's too cold to use AC but too stuffy with the window closed. 2. The bathroom was very moldy and stinked really bad. There was no fan, no window in the bathroom. I asked the owner for an air refresher. He was nice enough to provide one. Other than that, the hostel was located very conveniently​ for travelers. It's just a couple minutes walk from the subway. It was close to a few attractions and there were many good restaurants to choose from. I won't go back though because of the bathroom condition. If you are not sensitive to smell, it is a good place overall.

This is the second times visiting korea. This place is near insadong and easy to get along. staff is very nice and treat us well.

See yah next winter

We started off badly because the taxi driver cannot find the address in his GPS, then he tried calling the no. in my printed confirmation form but no one's answering then he asked me to call and the answer i got is "it's not listed in the directory".. whaaatttttttt?!?! 9,600 Won later, we finally arrived.. hallelujah! the staff that greeted us speaks english, very friendly and accomodating. the room is just right for me and my 2 friends, i especially love the spacious bathroom. then there's free wi-fi, unlimited tea and coffee and you can use as many towels and soap as you like. there's no shortage of hot water since it's the start of winter there during our stay. Now, for accessibility, it's walking distance from subway station and airport bus pick-up point. it's also near tourists spots if you don't mind walking around and specialty shops where you can buy some unique souvenirs. So I'd say "SEE YAH NEXT WINTER APPLE BACKPACKERS"

Great hostel

Affordable hostel that is near to the metro subway, around 5 minutes walk. The surroundings has got lots of food to eat during the evening time, street food and BBQ alley which is just behind the hostel and they open till quite late on weekends and this could get noisy till midnight. There is also a convenient mart (Lemon mart) nearby, it sells a good variety of stuffs and quite affordable price. There is no lift in the building but you can ask the staffs to help you carry your luggage up to your room if it's too heavy. The staffs are friendly and helpful and they are able to communicate in good English. They don't provide bottled water or kettle in room but you can go over to the common area/lounge to get the hot water, tea or coffee. If you need bottled water, you can buy it over the counter. There is free WiFi in the lounge and even in rooms!

Great location

I had a great experience with this hostel. It is clean, the staff are friendly, and it's in a great location, right among some of the most beautiful spots in Seoul. Very close to subway and bus stations, and a collection of great restaurants.

Good price and location but has major issues

The sheets/pillow cases were not clean, obviously it has not been changed before I checked in, made my skin irritating/itchy... The walls are not soundproof at all, you can clearly hear people coming in downstairs and noise from business next door (someone was cutting meat or something 24x7), if you don't have earplus, good luck falling asleep. Internet was slow, can't really stream youtube. Front desk was very friendly and speaks English well.

Not too bad for a hostel

I booked 3 nights of single room and 2 nights of dormitory but i was staying thru out in the dorm room. Becos I checked in for both at the same time though the booking was made in 2 different channels. I was told that i could stayed in the same room for all 5 nights. Initially i thought that even the single room was bunk bed hence i did not question the arrangement but later i realize that the hotel staff actually rearranged my booking to let me stayed 5 nights in the dorm room but i could stayed alone without sharing with another stranger. If i realize it early would ask for the change of room so that i can experience both, the staff did not explain the situation clearly for the new arrangement to me. The hostel staffs are efficient in basic English and very friendly. Room conditions was run down but relatively clean. For someone who are used to a hotel, might find the place relatively inconvenient as there's no kettle and fridge in room and friend is not allowed to enter your room to chat, there are allowed in the common area. Something unbearable for me is the room is not sound proof at all as there is a family staying near my room hence when thr kid scream or the parents speak at night or early in the morning will wake me up from sleep. The location are indeed within walking distance to some of the popular attractions. I would recommend to someone who is adventurous and easy on hostel expectation. It is a cheap and good choice.

Great location and nice price

Very great location! It’s is near to the train station and this train station is very convenient with 3 lines(No. 1, 3 and 5.) Around the guest house are many restaurants and convenience stores. The staffs are friendly and really helpful. Will come back, if i have a chance to visit Korea :)

対応言語に英語、日本語も書いてありましたが、入国手続きに時間がかかり、チェックインに遅れそうだったため電話したところ、韓国語しかわからないと言われ、非常に困りました。ホテルにいるスタッフも韓国語しか話していないようでした。（たまたまなのかもしれませんが） エアコンのリモコンも韓国語で書かれていたため、使い方が判りませんでした。 窓が浴室にしかないため部屋の臭いがなかなか抜けません。
