I was not allowed access to the hotel bar. Apparently, it was too crowded with outside guests. I expressed my disappointment. As a paying guest of the hotel ( over $500 a night!) I should have been allowed to access the bar to have a drink. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing trip to Seoul. It was not a good experience.

Overall was a great stay. It was a bit farther than where we wanted to go, but there was taxi's always available and a good walk to Itaewon

The lobby is super busy everytime. I went to The Shilla before going to Grand Hyatt and except the river view, everything is much better in The Shylla from the breakfast to the spacious room as compared to Hyatt. I used to go to Hyatt when i first came to Korea in 1995 but it is getting old
