Paris meets technology. “Hey, Genie” will open curtains, turn off lights and lots more. I could request extra water (free), towels, vanity kit, sewing kit and more. This hotel features lots of French decorations. Even elevator announcements were in Korean and French. This hotel offered super quiet nights ever. I love the location since it’s near Namdaemoon market 남대문, Myoung dong and unseating all within walking distance. Hotel maybe small but it offered and located in perfect place for my trip. Also staff are friendly and I can just push a bottom for make room. It can’t get any better than that. I would highly recommend anyone who wants to visit myoung dong to stay here.

Huge room with really nice decor. The happy hour and breakfast provided as part of lounge access was excellent, worth the extra cost. Service was great, I asked for iron and ironing board and they were at my door in a couple minutes. The only down side is that they had this huge bath tub but didn’t provide any soup or bath salts. The only soap was mounted to the wall in the shower. The gym was not huge but had enough equipment to get a good workout.

Fantastic hotel! I'ts French rather than Korean themed but the decor is so nice and they have the fancy toilets with the heated seats etc. We had robes, slippers etc. We used the swish cocktail bar but can't comment on the food. The location was a straight, short walk to our tour pick ups near Myeongdong station and close to the street food market. Don't waste your money on transfers, we booked a taxi to the cruise terminal and we had a really posh car for £25, granted traffic wasn't too bad

I gave a 4 for staff as I did not find one of the ladies in the concierge team as helpful and I don’t want to insunuate she does that because we were blacks. I have seen her smilie and chatty with two ladies from the united state but whenever she is on the stand and myself or my friends go to her she sounds cold and impatient that she one time called a cab to take us to a wrong place due to not patiently listening to what we wanted to ask. It’s a beautiful hotel, good location to luxury shopping and traditional markets. I would stay again if I ever visit Seoul

Wonderful hotel. Beautifully decorated, immaculate, quiet — everything I wanted. The only small niggle was the room lighting, while perfectly suited to the hotel’s rich and atmospheric style, was a little dim when I wanted brighter light. The location is superb, with metro and bus stops just a couple of minutes away, and Myeongdong shopping even closer.

2nd time staying at this property. Love the breakfasts here. However the cleaning staff needs to be more cautious about # of towels required in the room. The genie system was also difficult to use — nothing worked apart from the curtains. Shower room also leaked easily. Would also be better if it could be possible to switch off one side of the bedside lamps rather than always have both on / off simultaneously.
