One of the very first hotels in Korea which predates even the Korean War, I first visited here as a kid in the late 70s when it was one of the top deluxe class hotels in Korea and came back for the first time since. The current version is an elite, state of the art, premium property with the highest level of service, even for Korean standards which are pretty high. The gym is top notch rivaling most regular gyms, the food is top quality and the rooms are spacious and high tech. But what separates this property is the service personnel from the front desk, gym staff, housekeeping, bell desk, but most of all the staff at the 20th floor lounge led by Ping. Everyone was very attentive and so pleasant and after a long 15 hour flight, the food and drinks at the lounge without having to venture far before going to bed was just what was needed. Highly recommend this place - coming from someone who has had a very busy summer of travel to multiple countries.

Booked 2 rooms for 5 people. 2 single beds in each room. No extra bed or sofa bed provided for extra person. When asked for extra bed told non available and offered duvet and pillow to sleep on the floor. Not acceptable in 5 star hotel. Asked for another room told it was busy. Spoke to manager eventually who found an extra bed and made a point of it being Complimentary. I would expect this as a minimum to have a bed for each guest. Left a bad taste in mouth after this. Facilities were good. Location great. Rooms are a bit dated. Dark in corridors, not ambient just dark. Not really a 5 ⭐️ feeling.

A very upscale but still understated hotel consistent with the Westin brand. Excellent if you can get a good room rate. The service is stellar and the athletic facilities extensive. However the onsite restaurants are very expensive, even for a nice hotel. The breakfast buffet is very good but it better be since it’s 70000 won if not included in your booking!
