The location is great. The room was ok ...i believe compared to other places in Seoul, it was big enough for thr 2 of us. Though the bathroom was built into the room with glass walls which was a bit weird and unsettling esp since I was travelling with my son. The other biggest niggle for me was the cleaning. Please know that while you can pick up fresh towels and cups from the Reception, they do not clean the room daily. We found this icky because we would use cups, cutlery etc as well as of course used tissues in the toilet were not cleaned out till we started asking for it everyday. Even then, trash didn't get taken out and the vacuum was definitely not done in the entire week we were there. Other than that, it was great. Right next to the Line 2 subway that you need to go anywhere. Also had the Wowpass machine in the lobby which was very convenient for us and we used thr DMZ tour advertised at the hotel since we got a hotel pickup. The folks at the lobby were quite responsive. We didn't have breakfast so no idea about the food available there.

Great location and perfect for a couple of touristy days in Seoul. My only gripe is that when I tried to buy a coffee at breakfast a member of staff literally shooed me away. He later came over to tell me it wasn’t free and I had to pay, even though I had approached the machine credit card in hand. Aside from him, everyone was delightful and I would thoroughly recommend the hotel!

I had a great stay at Travelodge Myeongdong Euljiro in Seoul. The hotel is in an excellent location—just a short walk from Myeongdong shopping street and close to Euljiro 3-ga subway station (about 15 seconds walking), which makes getting around the city very convenient. The rooms are clean, modern, and well-maintained, with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The staff are friendly, helpful, and speak good English, which made check-in and any questions very easy. Overall, it’s a great value for the price—comfortable accommodation in the heart of Seoul with easy access to shopping, dining, and public transportation. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Seoul.

The stay at Travelodge puts you in a fantastic location that leaves many Seoul must-see areas within walking distance and the line 2 metro about a minute’s walk away. The hotel itself is bang in average, the rooms are fairly small, they provide cleaning services only in the third day of the stay, and the facilities are a bit old and tired (some of the grouting in the bathroom had turned black for example). The gym is small but functional and the laundry room is similar. Drinking water must be collected from water purifier stations by the lifts.

Other than the Air-conditioning being bizarre (stuff, warm alternating with cold and no air flow affected my sleep) - it was a standard, efficient American hotel - good value for money. Super convenient - Excellent coffee round the corner (as well a very quirky one hidden in the back alley), subway close by, airport limousine 5 mins away, walking distance to Myeungdong and Insadong

Overall clean, safe and comfortable stay for the price. Water from shower leaks out of the door so floor gets flooded, the air conditioning is too cold, it’s either on or off. Rooms are not that soundproof.
