Welcome to Elklandia, a luxury destination vacation home- and we're dog & horse friendly! This listing is for the main home and limited to 14 people total. If you'd like to increase to 18+ for your stay, the Elklandia Studio Apt VRBO #5235413 is available to rent in conjunction with main home only. You need to book both in order to use the Apt.
Experience all the Olympic Peninsula has to offer and make this centrally located 5+bedroom, 5600 sqft farmhouse your base camp. With a variety of sleeping arrangements- including a king bed, queen beds, twin beds, hidden "wolf cave" bed and an additional attached unit VRBO #5235413 that sleeps 4, there's room for everyone, including the dogs & horses! The barn has 2 stalls (will be 4) and a 10x10 dog kennel. Dogs are allowed inside. Just make sure they're clean.
Our guests will have plenty of space to relax and enjoy the beautiful panoramic surroundings- Enjoy your coffee, tea, or favorite adult beverage from your choice of 3 decks and 2 patios, or even the hot tub! Or pull up a chair in the field and just take it all in. Also, enjoy amenities like a 7 person hot tub, 3 person infrared sauna, game room (coming soon) and mesh wifi that covers a large portion of the property. There's something for everyone here at Elklandia and our number 1 goal is to make this an experience you won't want to forget!
Located in the Lavender Capital of North America, be sure to make Elklandia your home base for all things Lavender Festival. Elklandia has a variety of Lavender to enjoy during your Summer/festival visit, including: Grosso, Hidcote, Melissa, Royal Velvet, White Spike and more. Exploring the Olympic National Park? We're located just a short 30 min drive to the Hurricane Ridge or Deer Park entrances, 45-60 mins to Lake Crescent Lodge and 1.5 hrs to Ocean beaches such as Rialto.
This property is setup with the horse travelers/vacationers in mind. A 6,000 sqft pole barn w/2 stalls (2 more coming) would make for a great destination for those riding, or attending events in the area. Adjacent to the barn is a large horse fenced 100'x90' pasture and a 75x90' round pen is in the works. There are trails along perimeter & thru-out the property. Access to DNR is via trails out the back of the property to Johnson Creek Rd and up the hill. Please observe signage as horse traffic is limited to certain areas. Please respect neighbor property and stay on the marked pathways. Thank you.
The 6000 sqft pole Barn and other locations on property would also would serve well as a backdrop wedding location for small elopements, vow renewals, family reunions, yoga/ corporate retreats, cider pressing, Christmas/Holiday Parties, you name it and we can probably do it! There is room for everyone w/straw bales, picnic tables and more. Enjoy picnics, barbecues, family get togethers, you name it. There is also a fenced off orchard and organic berries garden (strawberry, black and raspberries and lavender) this is closed off, but will have some items available to Guests when in season.

There is also a 10'x10' dog kennel in the barn, but we ask that you do not leave the property & leave your dogs unattended. Please make sure to clean dogs before bringing inside and clean up all dog messes and put into trash.
The home features solid wood doors throughout, (two with leaded glass) and baseboard trim, reclaimed from two Victorian era homes in Seattle's Queen Anne neighborhood. The backyard is private and has big views of the hills & fields, where the Elk & deer bed down. KIDS-Bring your tent and set it up in the campground area out back. A large, 20'x30' covered back deck w/ furniture & dining table, w/a 3 person infrared sauna and a 7 person hot tub on the large stone patio, in which to relax and take in the views and sounds of the coyotes at night. Trails are cut thru the property and the "Magic Forest", for leisurely strolls or kids to run around and play in (please stay on mowed pathways). This property is setup with families in mind. We want you to bring the kids, dogs, to play and have fun and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Upstairs you'll find a 300sqft master bedroom w/large bath, shower. toilet area & a large sink/counter mirror. There are 3 other bedrooms on the upper level that share 1 large bathroom w/ 2 sinks and a separate shower/toilet area. The Pink Room, The Wolf Den & The Blue Room
Downstairs is 1 bdrm w/ a large closet setup as a "Wolf Cave" for the kids- complete w/ forest wall paper and large paper mache, chickenwire & wood "Cave Entrance" see photos! & large bathroom, w/ separate shower/toilet area. and a 1/4 bath off the front entry mudroom w/ large farmhouse sink & toilet.
Chefs kitchen w/ Frigidaire Gallery appliances- stainless-double convection ovens, fridge (2 fridges in the house),dishwasher, convection microwave, 5 burner ceramic stove top. Game room coming in the garage.
There is also a separate Suite that is available for an additional fee per night (VRBO# 5235413) when the main house is rented and must be for the duration of the main house stay. It has its own heat pump/AC, kitchenette, fridge, washer/dryer, large 3/4 bathroom w/ roll in shower w/seat & grab bars, covered deck, skylites and great views, especially when the deer & Elk are in the backyard! This room also has it's own sitting area and TV, kitchen table, etc.. Also has coffee maker, microwave, 2 burner hotplate, toaster. There is a queen bed, sleeper sofa and we do have additional rollaway cots.
This property has everything you want & need and if you need to go to town, it's only 3 miles to downtown Sequim, 20 mins to Miller Peninsula horse trails, or Slab Camp, and 5 min to trails in Happy Valley. 40 minutes to Port Townsend and 25 mins to Port Angeles.

Property was perfect for what we needed. Kids had fun playing outside on the property and in the trees, plenty of gathering and sleeping spaces for our group.
