Located atop Bluff Mountain overlooking Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains, Oliver Overlook is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. This beautiful cabin has amazing views that will take your breath away. You will feel like you can touch the heavens as you gaze out over long range views of the Smokies from your wrap around deck. Beautifully furnished, comfortable, and updated, you will feel right at home. Snuggle by the wood burning fireplace or relax in your hot tub after a day of exploring. At night, the view allows you to see the lights of Pigeon Forge sparkling in the distance!

*4 WHEEL DRIVE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE ARE RECOMMENDED DURING WINTER MONTHS.
Mountain roads can become hazardous or impassable in snow and ice.

Oliver Overlook can comfortably sleep 6 guests. The cabin has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. There are 2 sides to the loft, 1 side has a Game Room with a Pool table, the other side has a queen bedroom with a bathroom. The cabin is easily accessible with only three steps to the front door. Conveniently located off Wears Valley Road, only 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, the cabin offers the best of both worlds: secluded yet convenient to attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Oliver Overlook is perfect for a family vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, or couple’s getaway.

BE SAFE - The last 1/4 mile to cabin is a steep, curvy, one lane road, paved private road. Normally a 2-wheel drive is sufficient but inclement weather requires a 4 wheel/all-wheel drive. In the winter we highly recommend travel insurance in case mountain roads are impassable due to snow or ice.
BE AWARE - You are in Bear Country, do not feed bears or leave food in cars. Lock the car door.
BRING YOUR OWN - Firewood & Coffee
NO PETS - $300 fine and asked to leave
KEEP IN TOUCH - If you have any problem let us know while you are there, we will try our best to solve it.
Limit 6 Guests maximum, including children, if exceed the fine is $100 per guest.
Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended or safe.


Nearby Things to Do: Dollywood, Splash Mountain, and the legendary Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show are all great ways to spend your vacation. You can also explore the Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove with day hikes, horseback tours, and zipline adventures. In nearby Gatlinburg, about a 30-minute drive, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, and the quaint Arts and Crafts Community await! The Trillium Venue located on Bluff Mountain is only 2 miles from the cabin.

This is our family’s second stay in this house so it made everything easier as we know where things are, and places to go or eat. The house is very well kept and maintained, we especially love the hot tub! We definitely will be going back to this exact house again in the future.

The view is worth every penny, it’s quiet and wonderful place to get away. WiFi worked great but TV reception was sporadic. It’s a bit intimidating the first time getting to it as it’s at the top of a mountain but no problem as long as you are expecting that. The rental does come with a bear that visits daily, lock the car up and don’t leave any windows cracked. The cabin is cozy and comfortable. The floors are a bit dirty, probably from all the hot tub use, but just bring socks to walk around in and no problem. Really great stay, loved it.

We have stayed in the smokies for several years on vacation. This precious cabin is by far the very BEST. It is a beautiful and quiet location. It has the most amazing views we have ever seen!. The road to the cabin is very steep so I recommend a very reliable vehicle. Chances are you will see a bear! We seen 2 of them up close!!!! The owners are very courteous and accommodating. We will stay here again and we highly recommend this beautiful cabin to others!

Stunning views and so peaceful

The cabin was perfect for our group and the view is the best I’ve seen. The last leg of the drive was quite steep and narrow, so if you have anxieties about that you will want to prepare. The hot tub was awesome and the host was very communicative.

We really enjoyed our stay the drive up was a little scary and if you don't turn on the right road you will go to the top which the host Lisa will tell you exactly how to get there in her message of instructions BUT MY HUSBAND DOESN'T LISTEN!! SO we ended up at the top very scary lol the views was beautiful although we couldn't see the sunset or the sunrise because of the trees on the sides of the cabin but you have a beautiful view out front of the cabin as described. the cleaners could do a little better job. The hostess Lisa was amazing ..there was a small issue that come up but she was very understanding.Thank you Lisa we will be back for sure

Dream Vacation Cabin

Loved our stay! Already looking forward to staying here again. This cabin gives you a spectacular view! Enjoyed it from inside the cabin, sitting on the porch in the rocking chairs, and from the jacuzzi. It is very private as you are surrounded by nature. It is located close to everything - stores, restaurants, shops, Dollywood, and other entertainment. The cabin is clean and very comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept great. The cabin has everything you need- even both a drip coffee maker and a keurig coffee maker. Lisa, who manages the cabin, is wonderful! She called us before we arrived to warn us that two bears had been spotted near the cabin. Yes, there are bears! Also, when we called about a slight incident that occurred, Lisa took care of it immediately. She was so kind when I contacted her about where I might find something I was looking for to purchase. I found it in the store she recommended. This cabin was everything I dreamed it would be and more! We will be back again! P.S. i highly recommend the Red Skeleton Tribute Show. It is wonderful! We laughed so much.

Amazing views!!!

We did a girls trip and shopped around until we found this online… I communicated with the manager before we checked in and she even called me to answer my questions. She helped us so much the 3 days we were there. The views. WOW WOW WOW!!! Exactly as pictured but to feel the breeze in your hair and the drink in your hand, you’ll just have to see for yourself. The cabin was very clean. We had one hiccup but honestly it was not a big deal at all… the manager called and handled it right away. To get up there, I would suggest taking anti nausea meds, the mountain is VERY steep… Great time had by all, I’ll book this one again if we come back! Amazing amazing!!!!

This place was so much more than described. Everything, and I do mean everything was in order, as described, well appointed, stocked, clean and most of all comfortable and lovely. Views are phenomenal

Cabin is hidden in a very scary sharp turn. Make sure you have an AWD vehicle! We got to see bears right in front of the property! The host was great she just needs a better cleaning crew. There was acrylic nails on the windowsill a dirty quilt on the bed dead bugs on the carpet, dishes in the dishwasher. But views and amenities were great!

Upper windows in desperate need of cleaning. We found a broken acrylic fingernail upstairs. Pest control needed as we had dozens of bugs of all varieties including spiders and stink bugs. Spill stains in the carpet. Overall a nice stay but the place needs some spring cleaning.

The view is worth every penny!

Had an amazing stay at this cabin! The cabin itself and surrounding it was very clean, the heat and ac worked as should! The hot tub location was on point with an amazing view of the smokies! The cabin isolation was good with trees and mountain sides blocking other cabins so we felt as if we were the only ones there! I would recommend this cabin to anyone. I already recommend it to a buddy who plans on reserving it! Thank you for a wonderful stay and we plan on staying here again soon! 10/10

Our communication with Lisa was superb. She was very gracious and called to make sure we knew of impending weather, and was very accommodating while we tried to figure out the best alternative. We were able to arrive a little earlier than planned so we would not be driving in the middle of snow. When it says curvy steep roads, it is no joke. Heed all the warnings of potential icy or snowy weather and what that could mean for staying at Oliver's Overlook. Stayed through the snow, had a great time. Good beds, good appliances, nice hot tub, and GREAT views. Altogether a wonderful stay.

The drive up was a little sketchy…for sure better with 4 wheel drive. The views were just amazing…the hot tub was amazing…the only thing we really had concerns about was all the stink bugs and lady bugs that seemed to take over the home. Other than that we had a wonderful time. Again the views were worth the drive up. Very beautiful and peaceful. Thank you.

We absolutely loved our stay here. It was somewhat dated and not flashy but the view made up for that, plus some. A couple issues did occur but the property manager was very prompt in response and super sweet.

Beautiful place with a spectacular view

Exactly as described! The view from the porch is gorgeous and the cabin is clean and well maintained. The host is very kind and easy to communicate with, and even checked with us before a winter storm came through to make sure we were aware of incoming conditions and would be able to get down off the mountain safely. The road to the cabin/driveway is paved and is definitely passable under normal conditions with a 2WD vehicle, but it can't be understated that a 4x4 would truly be a must during icy or snowy weather. Overall this is a lovely peaceful place to stay and I would definitely book again in the future.
