We had a great trip to the Sevierville/Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge area! The cabin is really cute and decorated with a rustic vibe. The bed was extremely comfortable, and usually it's harder to sleep the first night, but I slept like a log on that bed! Ivan's communication was timely, and he was very informative and generally seemed to care about the maintenance and care of the cabin. The trip up to the cabin was a bit tricky. We watched the video he provided, but it definitely was challenging to find the cabin even with GPS. It takes about 25 minutes to get from Gatlinburg to the cabin, even though it's only about seven miles. The roads are narrow and winding. The hot tub was wonderful and a great way to end the night after a long day of exploring the area! It was so peaceful and quiet, and I was disappointed we couldn't stay longer. If I could make a couple of minor suggestions, it would be to add some kitchen washcloths or clean sponges, provide a pizza pan and add a small table or shelf to put items on outside by the hot tub. I did bring my own washcloths just in case, and we used one of the 9x13 flat pans to bake a pizza, so not a big deal. I made the hot tub work by putting my glasses/Kindle on the step, but a bit of a reach. We also weren't sure about how to turn off the hot tub or what to do with the cover so a few more instructions on that would be helpful for future guests. I'd stay here again, and it was a wonderful way to kick off our road trip of TN!
