Absolute Relaxation is a beautiful cabin located only 10 minutes from downtown Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. We are directly between the 2 towns.

Our family enjoys getting away from home and has been visiting our cabins in the mountains for the last 10+ years to relax and unwind. I also love hiking on the many different trails here in the Smokey Mountains. The trails offered waterfalls and incredible views of the mountains.

We believe that you will fully enjoy this cabin, the large deck and the great views to provide you with a wonderful experience. Our goal is that anyone who stays with us will want to return again.

This cabin is updated on a regular basis. We visit our cabin at least every 3 months to inspect and update as necessary. We installed a new tile and glass shower unit in master bathroom, check out the photo. The kind of shower unit you would enjoy at a major resort.

Absolute Relaxation cabin is a great place to enjoy a special weekend or a honeymoon. Also it is perfect for family vacations. There are different seasons here for different experiences including flowers blooming in the spring, summer vacations, the change of leaves in the fall and the winter wonderland views which include skiing.

When you first walk in the cabin, you will view high vaulted ceilings with large picture windows and it is mostly all wood inside. The large deck includes nice wood furniture, hot tub, a picnic table and a charcoal grill to enjoy the great outdoors.

We are fully equipped with Free Wi-Fi , new flat screen TV's in each room, game room with air hockey table and futon, fully equipped kitchen, Jacuzzi tub in master bathroom, washer/dryer, beautiful mountain views and fireplace (wood burning). This cabin is furnished with towels, washcloths and all linens. We also provide free long distance phone service. Sleeps up to 2-6 people but could sleep an additional person on sectional sofa.

There is so much to do in the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge areas. We have yet to experience all of the many options even after visiting here for over 10 years. You can view all of the many trails that feature awesome water falls and incredible mountain top views. There is also a large Tanger outlet shopping mall, Dollywood, lots of shows and countless restaurants for great food. Activities include zip lining, mountain coaster rides, Ripley's Aquarium, many mini-golf courses, white water rafting, canoeing, fishing, skiing, horseback riding, ATV tours and so much more.

Perfect getaway spot

After spending 4 nights in Nashville with my family I wanted to cozy up in the mountains for the last 4 nights of our trip. It didn’t disappoint. The view from the back patio was everything we hoped for and the inside was perfect. The host was easy to communicate with and I would highly recommend this cabin.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely fantastic! We were there for our honeymoon, and it was everything we hoped for—peaceful, cozy, and the perfect place to relax and unwind. We absolutely loved the cabin itself, and Stan was amazing the entire time—super responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. My partner and I really enjoyed our stay. We were in great proximity to everything we needed. Our rental was cozy , quiet and spacious. Unfortunately, there were areas in the home that were not clean as well as some dishes. But overall, we had a great time!

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The owner was attentive throughout and helped to ensure we had a nice time. The property was as listed and even had a fun perk of the ability to view Dollywood fireworks. Property was spotless except for a few cobwebs and some dust. I would love to stay here again.

Great Location

The house is very clean and cozy. You’re close to Pigeon Forge, Ober Mountain, and Smokey Mountains National Park. The owner is also very communicative and helpful. We were looking for a mountain cabin to relax and got just that.

Great cabin for a getaway!

This cabin was perfect for what we needed. Before checking in, Stan, the host, reached out a few times to make sure we had everything we needed. The cabin was perfect for our family ( 2 adults and 2 kids). Our son was obsessed with the air hockey table! The cabin was very nice and clean. One of the best things was the quality of the linens and towels. I am used to most short stay rentals having hotel quality towels, and sheets, but these were very nice. Overall, a great place in a great location between pigeon forge and gatlingurg. Will stay again!

5 year Anniversary

Stan made everything go smoothly! He checked in with us upon our arrival and made us feel like we could reach out with any issues. The cabin was just what we needed for our getaway to celebrate our anniversary. My only complaint was there was construction going on next door and the company parked their vehicle too close to the steep driveway - of course not stans fault at all! Just a warning to future guests that it might be challenging to pull out! Highly reccomend this cabin!

We had an enjoyable time staying here one thing that is not noted is you can only park one vehicle at this property there is no room for two and it is an extremely steep slope to park. The accommodations were ok. The hot tub was nice and well-kept. The view is mostly trees and just a small peak of the mountains. I would suggest bringing your own pillows.

Great, central stay in the mountains

Had a great time at the cabin. We loved the openness of the cabin, a great place for dinner and board games, a perfect kitchen, nice layout, hot tub, and CHARCOAL grill, which was all great. Location was pretty perfect for everywhere we wanted to go in the Smoky Mountains. The master bed could be a bit comfier. It is a queen with a massive mattress topper on the top that makes things overly squishy. That sounds like a simple fix. Stan was fantastic to communicate with and we would stay there again.
