Disappointment
we were unable to stay at this property. upon arriving into town, the host cancelled our reservation. we scrambled for a place to stay and with the help of your support team at vrbo we were able to secure a place, but it was not a cabin like we originally planned. we were disappointed greatly, but as mentioned, your support team at vrbo helped us find a hotel so we could still continue with our plans. we cannot give an honest review of this property only how disappointed we were at being cancelled within hours of arrival. This was our first time booking through vrbo, and we had some concerns, but the reviews helped us solidify our decision. We had looked forward to this trip, and again, cannot express the disappointment and worry of what to do. we are pleased with the assistance we received from vrbo, and would plan to use vrbo for a future booking. knowing vrbo has a customer service that really works hard to help out meant a lot to us. again, disappointed in how the host handled our cancellation with receiving notifications of our arrival and then a cancellation. we understand it was the busiest season for this area and had packed and prepared to stay in a cabin but had to settle for a hotel room instead. we purchased items that were unusable - food - and had to move rooms because of the prior bookings.
