There was, and probably still is, a semipermanent sign on the front door stating the pool is "temporarily" closed. This seems to be a trend with hotels lately. Apparently the owners these days don't have what it takes to manage their business. Why might that be?

Especially for the price, this was one of the top rooms I’ve stayed in. Spacious, clean, comfortable. My only discrepancy was that the tub was creaky and felt cheap. Other than that, everything was pristine. Will absolutely stay again if I’m passing through the area.

Just what I needed- 10 hr later , I was tired and needed to take rest. Booking was easy using Hotels app, Pricing was right on$$.. Very easy to find location greeted right away. Tabatha at the front desk was very helpful and made me feel at home.

Unfortunately the stay did not meet our expectations. The pool was closed for maintenance, the handicap room was not well suited for my elderly sisters. The beds were too high making it challenging to get in and out of bed; there was only one chair to sit in; the showerhead faced out making it difficult to shower without getting water on the tile floor which then became slippery. The tables in the eating area were sticky and the carpet needed vacuuming. The silverware was not great for cutting the waffles on the Styrofoam plates. We did like that we had a/c, we could play cards in the eating area in the evening and there was always good hot coffee available. All in all we didn't feel like we got our money's worth.

Very clean, comfortable beds, nice breakfast! On main drag next to Casey's. Don't like the big potholes at the entrance by the street! Would recommend when visiting Seward!

Property is in good shape; however, the pool is closed indefinitely for maintenance. Always have scrambled eggs and waffles and one other hot item that varies daily. Don’t aarive too late to check in. There is not someone at the desk all the time. The double queen room was very good, but there is no microwave.
