The hotel is quite new. Around 10min walk from train station, not too far, yet a quiet area. Nearby train station has a lot of food stalls and walking distance to shopping mall.

This hotel is a bit out of the centre but was handy when coming in on the train from Beijing as Hongqaio train stations isn’t far. Taxi was ¥28 which is really cheap. Metro station Juiting is only 5mins walk away from the hotel if you need to get into the city and the maximum one way there is ¥7. There is a supermarket and various restaurants nearby to eat at. The hotel was amazingly well priced. In very good condition and beautifully presented. Huge tv in the room with English channels. The breakfast was a good deal also. Plenty of choice to eat.

Enhancement of Service Level

Hotel need to look for more practical and efficient ways in assisting customers to book a taxi. At present, the staffs use their own mobile phone to call for taxis. The food served for breakfast should vary from day to day. Customers who stay for long period can get bored of the breakfast.

Decent hotel could use some management improvement

Decent hotel with some minor challenges. Looked older than it is given the finishings Upon check in, we walked around the corner to the elevator where 3 “security” personnel questioned guests to show their key for entry which was odd as it led you to believe there are issues in this hotel. This property is more geared towards domestic travellers and not as well managed as other Mercure’s in Shanghai. Hotel booked us a taxi to Pudong airport which cost us just under 400 rmb w tolls via the highway on a Sunday yet it took us only 260 rmb in heavier traffic to arrive. Decor was worn or poorly finished on a less than year old hotel. Amenities were minimal asit is clear the management seeks to cut corners here. No fridge drinks as other Mercures.

Absolutely fantastic experience and great service

Nice new hotel. Really comfy and nicely decorated rooms, elegant and stylish. Good price too. Food is above average. The service absolutely top notch. Everyone went above and beyond to help us. A nice gentleman even booked and paid for our private taxi going to train station without asking for anything! Definitely will go back. Thanks!

가격대비 아주 훌륭한 숙소였습니다. 로비도 예쁘고 직원들도 중국사람 치고는 나쁘지않았어요 대체적으로 중국분들 여행객들에게 뻣뻣했거든요 디파짓 없었고 룸 청결했습니다 저희는 조식이 포함되지않아서 따로 해결했는데 거기서 만난 한국분들은 조식이 별로라고하시더라고요 로비에 커피머신은 정말 최고였어요
