Perfect Location, Outstanding Service, Unforgettable Views I had a fantastic stay at the Renaissance Yu Garden. The location is unbeatable—just a block from the metro and a short walk to the Old Town and Yu Garden. The service was excellent, the room spotless and spacious, with a large bathroom and super comfortable beds. The highlight was the astonishing view of the Pudong skyline from my 12th-floor room. The breakfast menu was varied and delicious, the perfect way to start each day. Highly recommended for both leisure and business stays.

We stayed in the hotel 12 years ago when the kids were little. This year we brought them back, and we fully enjoyed it the same way we did 12 years ago! The room and bathroom are large and clean; the breakfast is rich and varied. The high floor we stay on can see the Oriental Pearl Tower.

First time in Shanghai, managed to get the train from the airport and almost to the hotel. The hotel is well positioned in the city with easy walking to all the attractions.

Overall a very satisfying stay. Very convenient location to everything and a subway station close by. Breakfast was good with variety of options. Front office staff was very helpful and even packed a breakfast on the day we were leaving as we had a very early train journey. Room was cleaned very well and cleaner did an excellent job. Only negative was the room view as we were not on a high enough floor to get a good view. We could only see the street and building next to us.

Very comfortable and clean. Within walking distance (10 minutes) from the river. Subway station Yuyuan garden, exit 1 with escalator, exit 3 closest but stairs only: 50-60 minutes from airport. Breakfast buffet has good variety for everyone.

THE HOTEL

This will be THE HOTEL I will be staying when I’m back. Service is great, place is clean, and most importantly is the convenience location. The Yu Garden is right behind the hotel with the night market and restaurants. Less than 10 min walk. Also within 10 min drive for all the luxury shopping locations. Strongly recommend for first time in Shanghai and future trips
