Shaver Lake Village Hotel is a very nice rustic woodsy hotel. The rooms were well maintained and the check in was smoothly and with no problems, as was my check out. I had a good time there and the surrounding area was very nice with plenty of shops to go to and close to the lake. I recommend this place, it is a nice place if you are visiting the lake. James

Great location, staff was friendly/helpful, beautiful scenery & quiet! The bed was not comfortable and our Wi-Fi did not work very well. We had to end up hotspotting off our phone just to watch a movie.

My stay was really good. I will be back next year to stay in the same suite, if available. The suite was huge and it had it's own bedroom. The beds were very comfortable. The AC in the room was awesome. The lighting was good. We had a full kitchen with all the basic necessities from the stove to the dining table. The staff was knowledgeable about the fishing and advised us so well, we caught fish... I have not caught a fish in 25 to 30 years until I stayed here. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance. I recommend staying at the Shaver Lake Village Hotel.

Staff was very friendly, but very difficult to find in the beginning. Bear Cabin was cute and comfy and stayed nice and warm. Only a few cleanliness issues with the coffee cups and a couple of the extra blankets they provided. The restaurant across the street that they are associated was also very nice. A bit pricey, but great food! Would definitely stay again.
