What a lovely place, from the road it just looks like a pub but once you're in the car park you notice a nice old building further up which is the hotel side. Check-in was nice and smooth, the room was lovely, airy & clean and the bathroom was very nice. All the staff we encountered were very pleasant & polite. We had breakfast the the following morning and there was a good choice from the menu and all freshly cooked, also available was fresh juices, cereal's, yoghurts & fruits, what a great way to start the day. We would certainly use the Rd Lion again if the need ever arises.
