The location was great, being a renovated part of the historical Sheffield Steel industrial site. A few restaurants nearby and just a 20 minute walk to city centre. Lounge and main bedroom overlooked the river. Second bedroom brilliantly quirky with a tv and seating area, but the area with the twin beds was low ceilinged (1 metre 70cm?). Also, you may not want to risk having young children in there due to the ledge between the two areas. Additionally, it was unclear that this was an upside down apartment and the front door led straight on to the bedroom hallway. There was no toilet on this floor, which meant having to go up a steep, uncarpeted staircase which was far from ideal at night. You’d definitely want a stair gate at the top if you had young children. The flat was tastefully decorated and nicely minimal, tho expect a high chair which was rather in the way wherever we moved it; that could’ve done with a bit of a clean too - in fact this was an issue we did have to address during our stay regarding the kitchen utensils and crockery, but was all promptly addressed by the host, as was the lighting issue in the living area - tho unfortunately we still found the replacement for the broken wall light too dark for us to be comfortable reading, eating etc in the evenings. Final note - the beds were comfortable and linen good quality and fresh.
