A brilliant and characterful hotel. Chosen by my other half who knows I'm a plane geek - this hotel is aviation-themed, with pictures and objects celebrating flight everywhere (even the staff are dressed as pilots and cabin crew!) It's fresh and spruce and the robots have no problem delivering takeout to your room (plenty of lifts). Best of all it's right in the action: eat streets are close by, Metro's a few minutes' walk, and you can get anywhere by DiDi in moments. Definitely where I'd book when next in Shenzhen.

Hotel staff are not very nice, they tend to be very silent not very friendly when you check in/check out. The room is quite small compared the picture, for a 5 star hotel and the money paid, nothing is surprising or impressive. We stayed in a 4 star hotel afterwards which is much more comfortable and spacious. This hotel is lack of service and amenities (no coffees offered at the lobby). Overall for the money paid the hotel just meet the expectations. Service needs to improve.

The hotel is walking distance from 2 main transit stations and lines which makes it very helpful to get around the city. Great service from the staff, particularly from Cherry and Emily who helped us with our luggage, and Jesse who arranged our airport drop off (free with the hotel stay). The gym and pool were also very nice. The room is spacious and had a great view of the city.
