Cheap place to stay the night. We booked three rooms, and the mattresses were uncomfortable in all three rooms. The mattresses were thin, and you could feel the mattress springs. Otherwise, the bathroom is clean and new, whereas everything else is old.

property is very good and this is 2nd time of stay but the problem is with expedia taking booking for 3 people for double bed room when extra bed is not possible for that room

The staff is very accomodating. We arrived early around 2pm, and the owner let us checked in around that time. It was supposed to be 3pm. The bedroom is also much bigger in person and its also clean! Will probably go back again next year! Thank you

Great value at an extremely clean little motel. Saint Raphael villa is only a three minute walk to Shirahama Beach. There are no extra amenities but the rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. When my taxi driver was confused on the ride in, the Villa Owner agreed to meet the taxi at a nearby convenience store. Bus service in the area is convenient but it does not run very late. Really laid back and relaxing area.

Excellent value for the vicinity when staying near Shimoda. A short bus ride away from the train station, a short walk to the beach, very quiet and relaxing. The perfect value for the price.

Excellent hotel and superb services 👍👍

Owner hospitality is outstanding. He Hadd arranged BBQ as soon as we reached hotel. This property has kitchen facility so we prepare our own breakfast and baby food. Its economic hotel which has all basic needs. I highly recommend this hotel who wish for economic hotel with basic needs

I visited this place with my two daughters and it was very very comfortable for us. Very comfortable beds, I slept with my little daughter and we had enough space for each. Cattle, tea, coffee, tea cups (not plastic), Quite place. Very cozy and stylish. I recommend this hotel to everyone. When we had check out but still planed to go to Shirohama beach the man who is holding this hotel (I think) asked us if we would like to keep our suitcase while we are going to the beach and also if we will need to take shower after beach. That was sooo nice. Because in another guest house householder said that we have to pay 500 yen in every hour if we want to keep the suit case there.

Kleine und super gemütliche Unterkunft mit einem schönen Innenhof mit Sitzmöglichkeiten. Zimmer sind sehr sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Besitzer ist super nett und hilfsbereit. Er spricht nur japanisch, aber mit Übersetzer Apps hat auch alles super geklappt. Definitiv einen Aufenthalt Wert

都会の喧騒とは離れ、近くには浜辺もコンビニもある利便さはとてもよかったです。駐車場がわかりにくかったのですが、オーナーさんが丁寧に教えてくださりました。駐車スペースも広く、星がよく見えて綺麗でした。水周りも清潔で、サブスクの種類も豊富かつWiFiもあり快適すぎる環境でありがたかったです！
