Before your Shirako trip draws to a close, why not spend an afternoon rubbing shoulders and cheering along with Chiba sports obsessives at a local game? Tokyo Dome is 65 kilometres to the northwest of Shirako. Those sports fans wishing to stay near to the action can select from the Concieria Shiba Koen or the Top Asakusa Apartment.

Narita International Airport is the most used airport for transiting in or out of Shirako and is 35 kilometres from the heart of town. If you would like to stay nearby, try the Narita Gateway Hotel or the Narita Excel Hotel Tokyu.
