The lovingly restored holiday home River and Sea Retreat is located nearby town Šibenik on the Adriatic coast, offering complete tranquility, privacy and plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The charming and clean interior occupies 200 m2 with a specious kitchen, a separate dining area and a comfortable living room, all illuminated with natural light with views of the garden. The oasis beyond the house walls is over 2000 m2 yielding a pool, a deck with sun loungers, and green lawn with olive trees and plenty of seating areas to rest after a walk in the garden. The cottage is an ideal refuge to enjoy a vacation with children or a relaxing holiday for a group of friends looking for quality time together. A built-in, open fire BBQ and an alfresco dining area are provided for lovely gatherings in a shaded area. Welcome to nature.
Please note, while the bedrooms are not equipped with air conditioning, 3 units in the common areas keep the house comfortably cool.
In six bedrooms twelve adult guests are comfortablyaccommodated.
Only 16km outside of Šibenikthisarea is an example of diverse Croatian landscape. Plenty of hiking opportunities are available in the area. Head town to the seato exploreCroatia’s third largest city, never touched by the Romans, withabundant water networks making it anideal base for exploring the surrounding islands and their national parks. Going back to 11th century most of Šibenik was built by Venetians. Its most famous landmark is the Cathedral of Saint James built only by stone in Gothic and Renaissance style dating back to 15th century. Michelin deserving restaurants, traditional eateries serving delicious local delicacies, and fragrant cafés line the narrow streets. Favorite pass time here is grabbing an ice-cream cone and getting lost in the city, aimlessly exploring, admiring centuries of history and for those of us who are fans, looking for favorite Game of Thrones filming sites.
