Our overall experience was a nightmare from the time we arrived. It was 10:30 at night, not familiar with the area. Directions to find rental office to pick up keys, were not clearly marked, even with GPS. We found “Our House at the Beach” with no clear directions as to how to get into building. Drove around trying to find lobby, which there was not. Had no idea how to get into building. Found our parking spot, looking at the back of building, no signs telling us where to go, what we noticed was service entrance that did say was to be closed at all times. Finally another vehicle pulled in and asked for assistance. They showed us how to get into building, going through a service hallway to get to door to elevator. Description of the property stated there was carts to take luggage to unit. Where were the carts, no where to be found. The next day we had gotten groceries, still no idea where carts were. There was a wagon in unit that we used to take groceries to unit. The office person was not there. The next day when office person, Debbie, was there we asked where carts were. She directed us to another service door, carts were tucked around a corner. No sign saying that is where carts were kept. Construction started that Monday replacing exterior doors and windows, front of building and back. We were never contacted about this happening. Dirty, noisy, starting before 8:00am, all day for the two weeks we were there. Could not sit out on Lanai because of noise, dirt or inside.
