Not as advertised
We chose this place for the common game area, pool and hot tub but could not use them. We were told the pool was under construction after we booked but could use the spa. It was all closed. Otherwise everything else was fine.

Terrible Communication
We were informed by Vacasa that are least one of the two pools would be open. They were both under full renovation. The main problem was a lack of communication and problem solving by the team about the Wifi.My wife and I booked this spot with the understanding that there would be Wifi so we could work while there. We were given an old network that no longer functions. We called multiple times over 3 days to try to get this resolved only to be met with promises to call back. All they would tell us was to use the old network and password. Eventually we had to flag a neighbor down and were able to get the right information late on our second to last day. We paid to get into a pool and were charged for a data overage that came as a direct result of not having Wifi. I hope to hear from Vacasa about a partial refund, as their knowledge of this property was not sufficient. .

Extremely Disappointing !!!
Arrived for our 2 week stay with groceries and found the refrigerator was broken. Had to spend a lot of our “vacation” on calls and texts with Vacasa to get minifridges and a partial refund for compensation.
Vacasa is unprofessional and apparently lacks any internal communication. Vacasa is horrible to work with and we caution you before booking with them or booking this unit. We have stayed in this unit before, but unfortunately it is going downhill now. The remote batteries were dead, with no replacement batteries available. The shower drain backed up which caused you to stand in water. One of the toilets barely flushes. The mattress is old and mushy and needs to be replaced. Internet was slow. The pool and hot tub were “out of order” with no explanation of when it would reopen. And the neighbor above us stomped around on the very thin floors on a regular basis.
We would highly recommend staying in another unit that is cared for and not run by Vacasa. Consider yourself warned!

Access to mountain activity
Convenient to trails. Bedrooms well furnished; living area lacks adequate comfortable furniture for relaxing; kitchen well stocked but needed better drawer organizing. Fridge barely kept food cold and ran noisily; light above cooktop works sporadically. Rooms were mostly clean, but visible dust on TV cabinet shelves. Master bath heating unit needs attention: cleaning plus repair or replacement. Especially on cold snowy days to stay indoors it would be nice to have a comfortable seating area with adequate lamps and table. We dug out a table and assembled one that was under the bed. The light color chair and ottoman need cleaning and fresh cushions.

Nice size, nicely appointed. Needs a few improvements.
Nicely appointed condo, but the bedding is for summer. There are only two blankets in the condo and, even with only two beds in use, it was not enough. Current bedding is summer-weight. Some of the glasses and bowls were dirty and had to be cleaned before put to use. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.

It was adequate and location good for skiing several areas
Condo was sufficient, howevEr the pool and hot tub were not operational, the heat was not able to be regulated, so we had to have windows open in 20 degree weather. The kitchen floor was very slippery almost to the point of being dangerous. There were no firestarters, so no fire, but that was ok since it was too hot . There was no hair dryer so plan accordingly. And there were some dirty pans in the cupboard, so check those.
Other than those things it was comfortable, TV,s worked fine with lots of stations. And there were some spices and coffee supplied.it was up on the mountain at 9600 feet, so plan for possibility of altitude problems if your coming from Florida or lower altitudes.
There were plenty of places to eat, shop, and drink, nearby, within a 10 minute drive down the mountain.

very clean, but dated
Need more comfortable seating and more lighting. Pillows horrible. Would be nice if first stack of wood was provided. Very quiet in condo. Kitchen well appointed. Overall, condo was not comfortable. Couch hard and lounge chair like sitting on wood. Also, needs a comfy afghan.

Beautiful summer trip!
As advertised, this was an immaculate, updated condo - one of the nicest ones we've stayed in Summit County. The kitchen is fully stocked with cook ware, which you don't see very often. The drive was short to get down the hill and hang out in Dillon/Frisco. The place was roomy and had everything we needed for a 4 day weekend of climbing 14-ers. Would love to come back on one of our ski weekends.

The place is gorgeous! Plenty of elbow room and lovely to look at.
This was really perfect for the 4 of us, with parking just a few feet from the front door, kids loved the pool, was very quiet, and warm. The Unit is surrounded by others on all but the one side, so it's toasty without turning up the heat much. The kitchen is perfectly equipped to cook from scratch though we didn't bother will all that this time. I will also say that despite being fewer than 7 miles from Keystone, it takes about 15 minutes to get to the bottom of the hill and onto HWY 6. From there, it's another 20 to the parking lot nearest to the Gondola at River Run. We had total support once we arrived, by text, phone. Love that. A great find, very reasonable price.

This place was clean, large and well equipped. The location of the unit was perfect...no stairs to lug everything in from the car and in the same building as the pool. The pool area was almost empty whenever we went.

This was a great place to stay and I would recommend it to anybody.
A few small things need maintenance: the clock in the kitchen doesn't work because the battery is corroded, the light on the underside of the microwave that shines on the stove top is burnt out, no flat sheet for the pull out couch, It would have been nice to know there isn't a DVD player.

Nice little getaway spot
We would probably stay here again if it is available and works for our needs.
Pros:
Clean
We love the floor plan of this building at Buffalo Ridge (bedrooms on either side of the condo with their own bathroom).
Location - High up in Wildernest providing nice views
Facilities - the pool and hot tub are in the same building (just down the hall and down a level)
No stairs to contend with - this unit is right at parking lot level, so no need to deal with the stairs or elevator
Kitchen is well supplied with dishes/cooking items including a coffee maker and a toaster. I also saw a roaster, at least one blender, and other items that we didn't use.
Cons:
This condo doesn't seem to an "owner-used" property. With that being said, it's pretty much like being in a hotel room: sheets, towels, toilet paper, trash bags, paper towels, etc.
A few items that are only cons for me (hard bed, many objects protruding (such as bed frames) that I tend to run into, etc.) but does not really go against the actual quality of the condo. Additionally, we've stayed in several units in this building and there is always an issue with the room temperature being too high - nothing a couple of open windows doesn't solve.
A couple of notes to the Property Manager:
Vertical blinds need fixed/replaced - many slates are missing and we replaced several after they fell off during normal use. There are so many missing that we had to hang a blanket over a portion of the window to maintain privacy. Vertical blinds on a balcony where the door opens inward just don't seem to work from my experience.
Woodpile very low (only about 5 pieces and we didn't use any)
Pizza pan & pizza cutter would be nice.
Some small ant-size bugs on the wall over the kitchen sink in the evening one day - nothing major, but something I wanted to point out.
