Second stay here. Convenience to departure gate for early am flight is great. Beds comfortable but light under bedside table cannot be switched off, so room illuminated all night. Bathroom this time was grotty - tiles behind showerhead mouldy, tiles on shower floor felt slimy and the shower drain smelled musty. Not the fault of regular housekeeping, the room needs to be put out of action for deep cleaning. We booked for 12 hrs and wanted somewhere to store our luggage while we attended the free Singapore tour, but not possible at this hotel. Only option was checking in early, which would have meant checking out early, impacting sleep. The first check-in agent kindly helped create a solution, but by the time we returned that agent had finished for the day. He had left notes for the next shift, but the second check-in agent was totally inflexible, refusing to allow us to check in even 20 minutes early so we could drop our luggage and make the tour on time. The price is around triple other comparable options in Singapore, so it was disappointing to find the second check-in agent's service to be so inflexible. We already paid much more for the convenience of staying IN the airport, having to also get up 30 mins earlier and lose the sleep meant paying this extra was wasted. Would have been better staying somewhere else and paying the taxi fee to get to the airport. Would still have had to wake up at the same time, but would have saved $100+. Unlikely to stay again because of this

The staff were consistently nice. That is, all staff were warm, welcoming and helpful. The meal and ability to make coffee and toast was a nice touch. We loved! the crisp egyptian sheets. We intend to stay again and recommend.

There is mould in Room 16 bathroom above the tiles in the shower - either the fan isnt being used often or it's ineffective at removing steam/moisture. The mould is unhealthy and needs to be removed and action needs to be taken to prevent it from reoccurring. Ive taken fotos so please contact me if you would to see what im referring to. I was disappointed by the lack of caffeine-free hot beverages eg decaf coffee, chamomile tea. Staff were lovely and very helpful, thank you!

The temperature in the rooms seems to be set centrally by the hotel. Our AC panel on the wall said 21degrees Centigrade. This was very cool, altho not too cold. I tried pushing the warmer button several times (the fist press turned the display to 20degrees C) until the display showed 23degrees C. The panel then set itself back to 21degrees C. I think it would be nicer if the hotel cooled the rooms to 22degrees C

Good place to have a sleep if you have a long stop over .. comfy beds great showers .. found the room hot but i may not had the aircon set correctly. A meal was included i didnt have it.
