I was expecting more when I arrived, this place is very underwhelming. There was mould in the room. The place is in dire need of maintenance. The doors in our room had trouble closing properly. Had light globes flickering on and off. All of the pools on the property and their areas (tiles, pool chairs) need to be fixed or replaced. Jacuzzi was not working. I do not recommend any one to book here especially since it’s quite expensive for what you get.

Old hotel. Noisy from peacock and loud speakers

Peacock and loud speaker were so annoying woke us up at 4am every morning. Hotel was room and run down and not very clean

cosy garden escape

Pros: - reception staff were very attentive -location -king bed + ensuite
Cons: - pool maintenance -more attentive manning of desks (spa, bars) -brighter lights in elevator -more selection of TV channels -welcoming style of room
Location: very close to Impala station which heads to Vivo city shopping mall, also very close to Universal Studios / other theme parks
After walking a few minutes from Impala station sentosa we arrived at the Amara sanctuary, reception staff were friendly and our room featured a garden view, a king bed and a large en-suite. The room felt like luxury, the only things missing were a few finishings eg. information on hotel amenities (this was on the tv although did not provide enough information on location of services, activities etc), mints/chocolates on the bed would have been nice or a bottle of wine . The room lacked a little care, as did the hotel itself, it was truly a sanctuary although one that hadn't been as well kept as it should be. Overall it was a nice little getaway and we made well use of the pool on top level , the staff were great and location very central to all themeparks.

Best spot in Santosa

The room, the location, the staff... best experience we've had at any resort around the world. Beautiful rooms, very helpful and friendly staff and a 3 min walk to the beach & 5 min walk to Resort World restaurants & attractions.
