Close to everything, perfect for a place to come back to after a day out. Room aesthetically pleasing and cosy, comfortable bed however bathroom not very functional - good water pressure and water hot but water in shower not draining and spilling across the entire toilet area due to incorrect floor levelling and unsealed glass section (no door)

Is a very good Budget Hotel. The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable. Things to be careful of: 1. the room in which we stayed had 3 different levels with no warning that there was a one inch step coming out of the bathroom into the bedroom or a three inch step from the foyer to the sleeping area e.g. different coloured floor tape would have been helpful to save us stubbing toes and tripping over which could have been serious. 2. the tiles in the bathroom are NOT non-slip and we ended up having to use one of our towels on the shower floor to give us a safer footing in addition to the bath mat in front of the sink. It was really dangerous otherwise You may need to ask for additional towels to overcome this hazard.

This property was everything it needed to be. Amazing location and neat and clean. We had a family room which was good but compact for what we are used to but that is probably normal for Singapore. There are no windows to look out as they are boarded up and the cleaner turns off and unplugs your fridge each day. Not sure the point of the fridge if we are not allowed to have it on. Oh and 2 minute showers if you plan to shower the 4 of you or you run out of hot water

Location in Chinatown near MRT, buses, n shopping mall opposite. Plenty food outlets nearby and a real 'pub' on next corner. Pricing good, rooms small but largest ok for one-2 persons and better if corner could be taken off bathroom AND toilet roll re-located to within reach without dislocating a disk! No on site meeting/relax common area except lobby. I would stay again,

Location is very good, close to MRT. Staff are pleasant. Room is very small, but bed is comfortable. There is no seal on the bottom of the shower door, so the water flows out and the whole bathroom floor gets very wet. It is clean, but under the wash basin the seal has a permanent black mark.

We stayed in a family room with 3 adults and 1 child and there was enough room for us. The room is a little small but fine as we were only sleeping, we had to do a little moving to fit all the suitcases in nicely. The bathroom was very nice and the shower head had a strong flow. It was a great location, super close to MRT (literally across the road). The staff were nice and could speak English, they helped us organise transport to the airport as there was 6 of us in total.

Close to Chinatown and MRT

Pros: Location, colonial character
Cons: Building maintenance needs to be kept on top of.
Location: Chinatown, Hawkers markets. MRT is just across the road to easy acces too all the sights.
We stayed 4 nights in a delux king room. As the norm for Singapore the room was quite small with little room to move around. The windows are somewhat obstructed with shutters and can't be opened. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The use of the free mobile phone with internet was handy to have when sightseeing. The condition of the hotel is fine, you can tell that the renovation was a few years ago.
