Area has the feel of 'old' Singapore
Very enjoyable stay. Wonderfully comfortable bed. Easy walk to MRT.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room
Pros:The staff were awesome, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfy.
Cons:The paint on the walls was a bit of a mess and was covered by kiddy decals. Better to just do a fresh paint maybe?
Location:The area was filled with local style restaurants (including one serving frogs!) and easy access to 2 train stations.
The staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The room was clean, small-ish for 4 people (luckily we were out exploring most of the day) and the beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too. I was put off by the kids decals on the walls and the character bedding, it made the room feel cheaper, but I understand it was to appeal to young kids, so no harm. The location wasn't ideal for us, but we quickly found the train station and managed the 10 minute walk without too much concern. The hotel was mercifully cool throughout our stay and there were clean drinking water fountains on our floor. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Splendour - loved the cats that hung around too!

Surprisingly good
Room was extremely clean and new. It's located in the heart of Geylang but away from the redight "attractions". Food abundance and all within walking distance. Hotel is tucked away in one of the side street, so you don't get the noise that comes with the area. Value for money. We actually wanted to stay longer but it was booked out and we had to move to another hotel. HIghly recommended, will definitely book again if visiting SG

Modern rooms, good size
Pros:We liked the modern rooms and friendly staff.
Cons:The rooms could be improved with a movie channel. All we had was local TV.
We were very happy with our stay in this hotel. The room was modern and comfortable and good value for the price.

Everything was exactly what I needed. Great value.
Everything worked like clockwork from booking in to booking taxis. etc. Very clean, compact with everything at your fingertips. Staff very helpful and charming. Good location.

Clean quiet Hotel
Pros:It was clean and friendly, just been refurbished. Felt very safe in hotel and the area.
Cons:No food/restaurant in hotel, however loads of places to eat close by
Location:MRT station 5/10 mins away, depends how quick you walk, bus stop 1min. It is in the Red Light district and rated the most dangerous area in Singapore
Yes it is in the Red area, but felt very safe. Food in the area was amazing and very cheap we ate out for $10 for two! a number of times. We had takeaways for $6 each. Supermarket was 5 mins down the road. All this on Geylang Road. My tip is don't venture down the side roads and back alleys, yes this where you find the vices of Geylang. A walk down the road gets you to the MRT for easy travel around. We got a 3 day Tourist pass for $20 each, amazing value., gets you on the bus and MRT. We went on a number of guided walks which were very informative about the history of Singapore.
